CRUSADER'S 2010 The Crusader's Ministries has been very busy for 2010. We have seen 98 saved this year. We are praying and asking God for 300. Will you join us in this prayer?
We are now booked 177 times for 2010. We continue to book for 2010, and now are seeing next years schedule beging to fill up too. God has been good to us.
Deep South Quartet Conventions will host 9 conventions this year. www.dsqc.org. We are seeing new areas open up for the convention. We pray that God will allow new areas for us to minister in.
Revivals and Homecomings are a big part of The Crusader's Ministries, also. We love Revivals where we can come and minister to the people of the church for four and five day revivals. We have been blessed to share this time with Bill Britt and Jack Daniels, both outstanding evangelist.

| 70 PEOPLE SAVED IN SERVICES THIS WEEK 65 PeopleSAVED IN REVIVAL AT NEW ZION BAPTIST CHURCH OAK GROVE, LA. It was an amazing week. Evangelist Bill Britt preached & Crusaders minister thru song & testimony. Glory of God fell upon this church. 65 People got saved, 6 surrendered into the ministry. Revival comes when people Seek God. There was revival here, because people surrendered. They give up habits, sins, & left it after the alter. People prayed, cried & asked God to do something within them. We seen all ages saved this week. Church visited, called, prayed for two weeks in cottage prayer meetings every night. God wants to do a work in all our lives when we surrender. We left there & went to GoodSprings BC. Rogersville, Al. They are really excited about the convention in one month. They have such a servants heart. Our service at Ridgewood BC was amazing. God moved the church to a time of prayer with many tears in the altar. The church surrounding the pastor & family, lifting them up in prayer as the Crusaders sang Gods Been Good. It was a moment of worship & a lot of love shown for the Lord & their pastor, Bro. Brad.

| Revival comes to N. ARK Qt Convention REVIVAL COMES AT: The 1st Annual North ARK Quartet Convention at Highland Hills Baptist Church in Highland AR was a big success, both in attendance & Spiritual. The Crusaders arrived on Wed. night to join the churches service. Many gave testimony of where God has brought them from 10 years ago. At the close, we filled out prayer list of IF YOU COULD REACH 10 PEOPLE THIS WEEK-END & MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR LIFE, WHO WOULD IT BE. On Thurs. the preparation begin with set up and a prayer time for the church. We prayed over these 150 plus concerns. By Friday the groups were arriving & Satan was attacking. With New Beginning, already calling with their lead singer having emergency surgery. Then came news: Steve Williams, with the Voyager wife was rushed to the hospital, with possible heart problems, as we had lunch with him. We begin to pray & believe as another situation arose: the Superintendants of the church, mom was rushed to hospital with heart problem. In the hours to come good reports for both ladies being released from hospital. The Friday night crowd packed the church to capacity with excitement, praise & worship. 10 Groups took the stage to sing their hearts out for Jesus. Later that night we enjoyed a midnight buffet and sing at a Words & Afterwords Coffee Shop, www.wordsandafterwords.com Sat. morning started early for groups as they arrived for a Full Breakfast prepared by the church. The service begin with a couple of songs. Steve Williams & Gus Biggers gave their testimony. God began a work in all of us. As the Holy Spirit moved, Mike spoke & then asked Aaron Cox, Bubba Coxs son with Velvet Ridge to sing. Aaron, a new babe in Christ sung Gods Been Good. This was a song, The Crusaders sung when they met him a few months ago in Heber Springs. He was so moved by the song, he learned it. There was not a dry eye in the fellowship hall. People begin to search their hearts, for answers from God. Sat afternoon, the banquet meal was prepared and served by the host church. As the meal ended, Steve Reeves gave his testimony and we were blessed as Broken Vessels Music Ministries from Alabama came & lead in worship. The two songs sung were My House is Full, but my Fields are empty and Broken Vessels. And from the first word sung out of Lisas mouth, the rest was nothing but anointing. God used them as people worship, cried, prayed and just hung on for a touch from the Lord. Mike spoke once again & we allowed time for God to speak to us individually. Sat night concert, was amazing also. There was a good crowd. And the groups let the light of Jesus shine through them. Each night there was foyer sings, and all the groups together singing on stage. At the close we said goodbye, thank you & blessings to each group departed to their services for Sunday. And if you think it is over, boy you are wrong. Mike Goodwin preached and the Crusaders lead in worship Sun morning at Highland Hills Baptist Church. As only Mike, can do, he poured out his heart in a message, although he could barely speak from a raspy voice. But, God used it like none other. In invitation the church broke loose, and allowed the Lord to do some healing. I seen around 150 people move towards friends, family and those they had hurt. I seen a church cry, hug, praise the Lord, & REVIVAL in the hearts had begun. I just notice that we prayed for 150 concerns and before me that morning I seen 150 miracles as they allowed GOD TO REFOCUS A CHURCH & RENEW EACH OF THEM. | ANGELS AMONG US It was hot in Russellville as The Crusaders took the stage Sat. night at The Train Depot. Three songs into the program, our bass singer, Berry fell to the floor, face first. Berry has a defibrillator, to keep his heart in rhythm. His heart was having to work overtime, because of the heat & it couldnt keep up. As he begun to fall, Steve threw his guitar to the floor & the other Crusaders scrambled to assist. A 911 call got the ambulance here within minutes. A long hair gentleman appeared on stage, from nowhere, immediately to assist, along with two other nurses. Berrys defibrillator had went off three times. By the third time his hearts rhythm had caught up & he was coming around, able to respond & answer any silly questions. With a busted lip & face, he exited to the bus with the EMT, to check him over more. Jonathan immediately came to me and said, Did you see the man, bent over Uncle Berry? I said yes, he had long hair & reminder me of a biker. Jon said, Mom his face was blurred, you could not see it clear. One of the nurses confirmed Jonathans comment, & said she thought his face was different. And mom, Where is he now? , Jon asked. We scanned the crowd because, I had wanted to thank all three of the people & give them a CD. Two were there and the third was gone. We begin to question people. No one seen where he came from, or where he went afterwards, no one knew who he was. Now you can draw your own conclusion. But, I tend to believe there are angels among us. Just maybe one showed up that night to take care of Berry & to strengthen Our Faith. Whoever he was, He was an Angel to us. Thanks Apostles & Heavens Echoes for a night, The Crusaders will never forget and those attending wont either. I pray that each person there, & reading this newsletter: now understands The Importance of The Heavenly Flight, The Crusaders were singing about. This incident could have been Berrys flight, had it been his time to depart. The Crusaders returned to the stage, later as David encourage each one to search their own hearts, & make sure they are ready for the Heavenly Flight, that they will only take if they are saved. On Sunday night we joined Fair Park Baptist Church for a very good service. As The Crusaders sung Gods Been Good, David asked for testimonies. A man stood and shared how God had spared his sons family from a house fire. A woman shared how she had lost her job two weeks ago, but God had faithfully taken care of her family. Another woman stood wearing a heart monitor & said she was glad God had given her another chance. The service ended with many in the altar & the church gathering around the 20 plus students and Adults heading for Church Camp this week, to pray for Gods Will. Thank you church for the meal, the offering and to share in a Mighty Worship Service. You are a Blessing to our Ministry. May God use you in Russellville to be a Witness. WE THANK THE LORD FOR HIS PROTECTIVE HAND ON US!!!

| Jesus - sweetest name I know A Week-end in Arkadelphia, AR. TCQ enjoyed two nights of concerts at the AR Quartet Convention. Terry Lemay & The Hawkins Family done a great job hosting this event. TCQ spent time with many old friends and made new friends. As I sit here and think of the names of the people I love so dearly. These names come to mind and many more: David, Steve, Jonathan, Berry, Randy, Terry, Lou, Kim, Paul, Heather, Morris, Darrell, Shirley, Tom, Richard, Kenneth, Mark, Robin, Judy, Gus, Debbie, Dwayne, Elizabeth, Rick, Gary, Julie, Lindsey, Gina, Teresa, Don, Mike, Mickey, Claudia, Joe, Amber, and Scott. But, no name is Sweeter Than the Name of Jesus. Although these are some of our many friends in the ministry, they can not do for me what My Savior has done. Only He can save. Only He came Redeem Me. Only He can Heal Me. Only He can Lead me in His Will. Make sure that The Lord is your best friend!! We finished our stay in Arkadelphia at Caddo Valley Baptist Church. It was a great service as we got to see new parents kneel in the alter and dedicate their baby to the Lord. Also, we got to witness the church license a young man into the ministry. Thank you Church for the Love Offering and the opportunity to be in your service. A trucker driver from Wisconsin, pulled over to attend the service. I am reminded, by God to take time for the Lord, wherever you are. He goes with you and should not be forgotten, when away from church or home.
Crossroads AOGDelight, AR . What a great service, TCQ had at this church. As David spoke of trials financially he had faced, The Holy Spirit directed him that there were others burdened by the same trials. The altars filled of people praying for others and their own selves, half way into the service. The presences of a powerful God was moving in the hearts of many. God is a provider, even in hard economic times. If you are His Child, He wants to carry you in time of trials. Thank you Church for being the perfect host. The way you graciously met us at the church, fed us, and allowed us to be at home, for an afternoon, will always be remembered in our ministry Thank you for the Love Offering and we look forward to the next service with you. | The Jericho March
April 1st The Crusaders Quartet News Letter - He paid a price I could not Pay MOUNTAIN PINE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCHTCQ left Sunday morning 6am for this service. We enjoyed the morning service sharing the service with Bro. Darren. The church had a wonderful noon meal prepared and we returned to the church for an afternoon concert. During the concert David asked for testimonies. A testimony of a visitor for the concert , inspired each of us. Her illustration was seeing a tree bud than bloom. God had spoke to her and told her to Glance around and see the progress of the problems, she had been praying for. Sometimes God answers immediately and sometimes it is a progress. Be obedient to pray and rely on God for His will and we all will see our lives Bloom. Thank you church for the service, the meal and the offering . Thank you for the men who help assist on the bus brake line problem. We had a safe trip home. GRENADA HOLINESS CHURCH TCQ joined The Hawkins family for the Sunday night service. It was a Blessing to sing in a church service together, instead of a concert or convention. As TCQ sung I feel like running, the former frail older pastor, stood to his feet first. I knew he had been in the hospital fighting for his life, just recently. It was a blessing to see that with every ounce of energy he had, he rose to acknowledge his hearts desire was to finish the race for the Lord. The service continued with TCQ finishing and The Hawkins Family sharing in song and testimony. God was moving and working in each of the groups. David, Paul, Val, Terry and Lou all poured out scriptures, testimony and works of the Lord. Both groups shared in the invitation as TCQ sung and played and THF left the stage to pray and minister to the many people who came forward to be ministered to by God. Prayers were sent up for many, but the one that sticks in my mind and heart this morning, is the small child that her parents are getting a divorce. She wanted prayer for her Daddy to be saved. I dont know of anyone that doesnt want there Daddy to be saved. The Bible commands that Dads be the spiritual leader. We pray that each Dad that reads this email, would step up and be the spiritual leader for their family. The service ended with TCQ singing, I Feel like Running, again. And I have never seen the Jericho March, but I believe Paul with THF did it that night. Thank you church for allowing us to worship with you. They so sweetly surrounded TCQ and praying for our ministry and safe travel. Thank you so much. The Crusaders Corner - Berry Lindseybegin singing the bass line with TCQ in 1989. The Crusaders were singing at Silver Hill Methodist Church Homecoming when they got the privilege to hear Berry sing. God allowed Berry to travel and sing from 1989-1999. Berry is featured on six of The Crusaders CDS, that have been recorded. Many believe he is the best bass singer around. We tend to agree with them. Berry has faced some health issues in the past few years with his heart and thyroid. He recently spent a few days in the hospital with pneumonia. We ask you to continue to lift him up as he feels led to sing again with TCQ. Berry lives in Arkadelphia, AR & is a member of Caddo Valley Baptist Church. 4-STATES GOSPEL MUSIC WINTERFEST CRUISE FEB. 1ST6TH, 2010 5 NIGHTS - LEAVES FROM: NEW ORLEANS, SAILS TO PROGRESSO, MEXICO AND COZUMEL. $100.00 DEPOSIT TO RESERVE SPOT..NOW RATES START ST $580.00 DBL inside per person. $100.00 due 9-20-09 and remainder 11-13-09. WINSLOW: The Crusaders service Fri. night was at Winslow, AR. First Baptist Church is hosting a new series of concerts. Bro. Gary and his wife Glenda, drove to Magnolia, AR last year for the DSRQC. That was our first contact with them. We are excited to have our new friends. They have a wonderful ministry of their own. More info at www.garyministries.com. With Berry, being in the hospital, Bro, Gary sung the bass part.. He did a wonderful job and we enjoyed that. Thank you church for the love offering and the sweet fellowship afterwards. We continued the fellowship at Bro. Gary & Linda at their beautiful home, where we enjoyed more fellowship and singing to after midnight. The Crusaders enjoyed the first trip to Winslow, AR.
STILLWATER: By 3pm, on Saturday, we had made our way to Stillwater, OK. We were greeted by Bro. Ken & Linda, with a fabulous meal. Also, joining us was New Liberty Quartet. It was a great concert for the church. We are looking for a group of them to join us this year for the DSRQC. After a good nights sleep, they fixed us breakfast and we left to join a nearby church. Thank you, Lost Creek Methodist Church for the love offering, and meals. Most of all thank you for the love and support of our ministry. The morning service for TCQ and NLQ was at Mehan Union Church. At the exit drives of the parking lot, there were signs that said YOU ARE NOW ENTERING YOUR MISSION FIELD. That was a good reminder, of the mission we have in the world each day.
When we walked in, we were blessed to see our picture on their prayer board. Each group sung and David Estep, with NLQ, shared his testimony. God has been good to all of us. Thank you, church, for hosting TCQ and the love offering.
We got an opportunity to share our CD with a young lady. Her mom, in her fifties, became blind 2 years ago. She is going through a really hard time with the challenges they face. I ask you to pray for them.

| Are you in the race for The Lord? The Crusader's Quartet weathered the rain and snow last week-end at the Mid ARK Regional Quartet Convention in Plumerville, AR. What a wonderful convention, their first attempt at a convention turned out to be. The weather either night did not hamper the crowd. The church was packed and chairs were brought into accommodate the crowd. Each group performing did a wonderful job. The excitement was felt from the church to the multi-purpose room, which was full of the groups product and great food prepared by different organizations of the church. We didn't miss a minute of the concerts, having to watch some of the program from the two TVs set up in the multi-purpose room. A Friday and Sat night service was enjoyed from people that came all across AR, and some from LA, TX and OK. We also enjoyed a breakfast with many of the groups and a luncheon provided by the Adult Sunday School Class. The morning worship and share time with just the groups was very special. Many tears, prayers and testimonies were shared during that time. It was great to see their church get behind Heaven's Echoes to make the convention such a success. Success is not always measured in the numbers. I seen much success this week-end, as many workers from the church assisted in all areas of the convention, from the opening to the closing. We, too, are grateful each year, for Immanuel Baptist Church, helping with our DSRQC. This year our convention will be held Nov. 13Th and Nov. 14Th. Mark your calenders now, and plan on joining us. Churches wanting to host a group on the Sunday, Nov. 15Th, let us know now. This is a great opportunity for you to participate. The Crusader's were honored to get to stay over for the Sunday morning service with Mike Goodwin, bringing the sermon. Bro. Mike's sermon challenge us to stay focus on the race. The end of race is not until the Lord has called us home. There are many things to distract us, our past, our failures and our fears, and even our pass accomplishments. But, we want to finish the race strong for the Lord. He has a lane for us, The Crusader's Quartet are in that race. And he has a lane for you, and each of us. Line up, if you got out of the race, and get back in. Stay focus and stay working for the Lord diligently until our race here is over. The Lord moved upon the service, in our hearts and many that came to the alter to pray as the invitation song, Amazing Grace, was sung. I thank the church for their outreach. So, many lives were touched, and renewed in the groups, crowd and church members. God did a work there, because His church open their doors to a new ministry. I look forward to hearing many testimonies of what the Lord done that week-end. I thank the church for their hospitality, their love and concern for our needs. I thank them for the wonderful meals provided, and the love offering. I, also thank them for loving and supporting our dear friends, Heaven's Echoes, in the dream of this new found ministry. May God bless you beyond words, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The Crusader's will finish recording the new CD, this Friday. Then, it is off to print. Please pray that God will use it over and over again for His Glory. We should have it for you within a few weeks. | Jesus said, "I am the Bread of Life." CENTRAL BAPTIST - IDABEL, OK The Crusader's climbed on the bus at 6:00 am Sunday morning and headed to Idabel, OK. Our first service of the day was at Central Baptist Church. The pastor greeted us with open doors. He begin to share that 25 plus people had called, this morning, unable to attend today because of sickness. Although, we would have loved for each of them to be there. We assured him, we would be praying for them. Specially the young lady of 30 years of age or so, that was being air lifted out for heart attack. We knew God had set this divine appointment up and He would be working in the service. I told the pastor, we, too had met adversity as The Crusader's were short their drummer and bass singer. Randy was sick and our bass singer, Jerry was not feeling well and his mom had fell. In the last moment, we had called Berry Lindsey, former bass singer to join us for the week-end. What a blessing for all who got to hear him. We would all learn soon, why some things had happened that way, that beautiful Sunday morning. The services filled up with visitors, small children, youth, and many older church members. The Crusader's sang from their hearts and shared Christ the best way they knew how. The pianist, Mrs. Vickie, played, while the church took up a love offering for The Crusader's Ministry. The Crusader's joined the stage to sing to the song. Vickie played beautifully. Nothing will ever compare though with as the invitation begin, and a young man, of seventeen with tears in his eyes came forward and gave his life to Jesus Christ. That is our repayment for every mile we go. We thank God, he is still saving the lost, and working in the lives that knelt in the alter and prayed in the pews. Central Baptist thank you for your work there in Idabel. Thank you for the love offering and wonderfully prepared meal. May God use you to reach many loss and hurting families. SOUTH TEXARKANA BAPTIST CHURCH - The Crusader's were back on the bus, and headed to South Texarkana Baptist Church. We were just praising God all the way. We knew this was a good day in the Lord. We had no idea, what was fixing to happen. As we pulled up at the church, we were met by a little boy. He didn't look to be over the age of four. A big smile, a Hello, standing at the steps of the bus, a little tie on, and barefooted. He just stole our hearts away. I wondered, would he one day, be a preacher..or maybe a singer, just using whatever talent God gave him. The church service was just anointed. I told someone I am not going to be able to even put it in words. We had two former Crusader's in the service. So, Tracy Thrasher and Earl Elder joined us on stage for two beautiful songs. Later they returned to the stage to sing I will Rise Up John 6:40, For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." They continue in the invitation songs with The Crusader's. There were too many songs, to list sung during the invitation.
As God used, Bro. Travis, the preacher, towards the end of the service. He said 15 minutes into the service, God spoke and said to give each person in the service a loaf of bread. He said God said, tell them" I am the Bread of Life." He poured the scriptures out to us from John 6. And the Holy Spirit, had been working all evening to bring this service together. John 6:35 Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty As the invitation time came, people prayed, hugged, and prayed some more. Families came to the altar. Friends came with friends to the altar. Older gentlemen and ladies knelt and prayed individually and together. The Crusader's counsel and prayed with people and the singing continued. It was an amazing over taking of the Holy Spirit. Families were mended and lives were renew. And there was a new name written down in Heaven, as the young man was saved. John 6: 44 Jesus answered. "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. Bro. Travis said he knew that when The Crusader's come to South Texarkana, that something is going to happen. We had no idea, what God had in store for the service. But, it only takes a willing heart, on our parts, to see God work. He is the mender, and rescuer. So, as I said we would soon no why things had happened that Sunday morning the way it had, played out. 1st. God had sent us there to bring the Word in these services. 2ND. We now know why Berry was put in place a couple of weeks ago and then again for this Sunday. You see God is leading. And as Jerry called on Monday and said his health was not going to allow him to continue to travel with The Crusaders. He asked us to locate someone else to sing the bass line. What we have learned in the Crusader's Ministry. God usually has put that individual right in front of us most times. Berry Lindsay feels that it is God's will for him to return and sing with The Crusader's. Berry sung with us for 10 years. We are excited about the opportunity to share the stage and ministry with Berry again. WELCOME BACK BERRY. The Crusader's next upcoming services are: Fri. 6pm and Sat 5pm Mid ARK Quartet Convention - Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Plumerville, AR others performing Heaven's Echoes, New Liberty Quartet, Cross Point Quartet, Hawkins Family, Apostles, Wooten Brothers, and Mike Goodwin. | Sweet, Sweet Spirit in Crusader's Service The last two weeks has taken us to these stops: BOUGHTON BAPTIST CHURCH - SWEET SWEET SPIRIT The Crusaders enjoyed their first trip to Boughton Baptist Church at Prescott, AR. The Crusaders sung in the morning service, and enjoyed a nice lunch and returned to the church for a full concert. A special treat was former bass singer, Berry Lindsey, joining The Crusaders for a song. As Berry returned to his seat, he was compelled to ask, if they still sung There is a Sweet , Sweet Spirit in this Place. Our lead guitarist, Randy Ortigo stepped forward and sung it. The whole church joined in on the song, and let the Spirit of The Lord fill the place. Thank you church for allowing us to be a part of the service. Thank you for the love offering. As we departed, we gathering in the parking lot in a circle with the pastor and a few members for a prayer. That Sweet, Sweet Spirit we experience, we carried with us through these next few services. The power of the Holy Spirit is alive and working, when we allow Him to work. Mid County Baptist ChurchNederland, TXThe Crusaders joined New Liberty Quartet for this service. Upon arriving, we were advised the pastor was too sick to attend on Sunday. NLQ open the service and TCQ sung the second half of the service. God used song after song to minister to this church. The service closed with Steve Reeves, singing The Anchor Holds as NLQ joined them on stage. As Steve gave a testimony of the Lord delivering him from Satan attacking him, the church stood to worship.. As the invitation begin, member after member joined in the alter and front pews to pray. It was a very moving invitation, as people cried, hugged, prayed and sung praised to the Lord. As the downs syndrome man, joined the people in the altar to pray and the little frail lady, on oxygen, was wheeled down in her wheelchair, we were reminded of how many things there are to pray for in our own lives. David encourage us to pray for the pastor, a loss spouse or love ones, and The Crusaders ministry. THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR BLESSINGS ON ME. AND THANK YOU LORD FOR THE HARDSHIPS, ALSO. THEY REMIND ME OF YOUR POWER, AND THE HARDSHIPS YOU FACED FOR EACH OF US. As the church gave away prizes for the dinner and valentine banquet, we donated a CD. The little boy that won, shared with me it was his first time to come to this church, and his sister's second. So, I smiled inside, because I knew God was reminding me, that he was going to use this CD, to minister to this child. As we talked, I shared with him the importance of coming to church and living for Christ. I thank the Lord, for reminding me of our calling. Thank you church for the generous love offering for each of the quartets and the wonderful meal. Christian Baptist Church at Sheridan, AR celebrated Valentines with a Banquet and The Crusaders Concert on Fri. Feb. 13th. We enjoyed a great meal prepared by the youth. The service was a sweet service with the church. As The Crusaders sang, half way through the service, people begin to stand and worship the Lord. Others knelt in the altar to pray. The service continued to be an uplifting service. Thank you church for the love offering and meal tickets for Dixie Diner. | Revival, Recording and Worship with The Crusader's The Crusader's had a busy week last week. The 5 service revival at Antioch Baptist Church was a wonderful time of renewal for The Crusader's. As the week, continued we seen God, join and unite The Church to the cause of Christ. Most important we seen 5 young men, accept Christ as their Savior. The evangelist, Homer Allison, presented The Gospel, in a mighty way, that challenge us to get the junk out of our lives, To Concentrate it, To Confess, To Move it, To Kill it, To Submit It. You must want It, in your life to allow God to work. The Crusader's Quartet on Sat. enjoyed a singing at Sulphur Springs Methodist Church, in Pine Bluff. The church has a monthly meal and singing, if you are in the area, many groups are featured at this event. The Crusader's Quartet had a wonderful service at First Pentecostal Church of God. It was refreshing to be in their service, and lead worship. This church has wrapped their arms around The Crusader's and are joining us in worship to Our Savior. We had a wonderful time, and joked with Sister Grundy. As The Crusader's begin to sing, I feel like running my last mile home. She stood up to step to the back of the church for a second, many, including myself thought she was getting up to run the aisle. We all got a good laugh, as we shared the same thought that had crossed our minds. The scripture place in the sanctuary, "Now the Lord is that Spirit, and where the spirit of the Lord is There is Liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17 The Crusader's and visitors definitely felt Liberty to join in and worship with the church. The church graciously took up a love offering and then ended the service, with Sister Grundy challenging Bro. Grundy to try and collect more money from one side of the church, as she took the other side. The church as a whole gave a nice offering for lunch and it was a fun way to give cheerfully. The evening soon got away as we headed to Bethsada Presbyterian Church in Camden, AR. This was too, a great congregation to sing to, about the Lord, in their service. The congregation had a fellowship meal, we all enjoyed, We enjoyed more than anything the visit with the members. This is such a friendly church. As I try to finish the newsletter for the week, The Crusader's are busy working in the studio. They hope to get most of their new project, "Heavenly Flight" recorded this week-end. The title song, was written by Jonathan Talley, our lead singer (my son). He is fourteen years old and I am proud of his love and devotion to the Lord. The CD will have other favorites, such as Day Star, The Anchor Holds, In the Grip of Grace, and many more. The Crusader's are excited about doing the recording at Jimmy (singer with His Call Ministries) Duty's studio. We can not thank The Duty's enough for their love for The Crusader's and their part in our ministry. We ask God to blessed them, in ways only He can. The Crusader's schedule is on line for you to view at www.thecrusadersquartet.com. Join us for one of the services in 2009. To book The Crusader's email or call David at 870-904-3118. God Bless you and we hope you will find Liberty in your service and worship to the Lord. If you are saved and the Spirit lives within you, then He gives you that Liberty to worship through Him. In His Service, The Crusader's Quartet Penney, a Crusader's wife David, Steve, Jerry, Jonathan Randy R. and Randy O.

| Who Do you say God is? The Crusader's Quartet spent the week-end on tour in East Texas. It was an awesome concert at New Boston, Texas with The Grace Boys, Mike Powell, Downs Sisters, Jubilee Quartet and Don Peace, and others. What a privilege it was to come together and raise money for Mike Phillips. Mike is fighting cancer, and he was unable to be there. But, praise the Lord we raised $8,395.72 and someone in the church matched it dollar for dollar. We ask you to join us in prayer for this family. We got the opportunity to meet his mom, and have promised to keep Mike on our prayer list. On Sunday morning God put us right in the middle of a church mourning the loss of one of the men in their church, who died suddenly on Friday. The Crusader's led the service at Hopewell Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas. What an awesome reflection of Life, itself, and remembrance of how short and uncertain life can be. As the service close, the church and visitors gathered in the alter, asking God for strength for this family, each other and the church. It was an alter called, that I felt was so heart felt, as some bowed, some stood, but all remained praying and talking to God. As The Crusader's sung several verses of several songs, you knew that God was present, as God dealt in our lives. The Crusader's left knowing that God was allowing them to minister to His Flock. Thank you Hopewell for your sweet spirit, the love offering and the invitation to be back in your church later this year. The Crusader's Quartet enjoyed the evening service at Mt. Selman Baptist Church outside of Tyler. It was exciting to see so many churches from the area join in the concert. It was also nice to see, familiar pastors from Magnolia area, join us for the concert. They were in the area, at a seminary meeting, and got word The Crusader's would be in concert. It was our first visit there, but hopefully not our last. There are plans to have The Crusader's back, for a community wide concert later this year. Thank you Mt. Selman for your sweet hospitality and the love offering. The Crusader's Quartet join with Antioch Baptist Church of Farmerville, La. for the first revival, for us, in 2009. Services start this Sunday morning and will continue Sunday night, Jan. 18Th-21st and nightly through Wednesday. Our friends, Bro. Greg and Mary Lea joined their staff, last year as pastor. We ask you to pray for a spirit filled revival. Revival is needed across America in our churches. We will finish next week in Pine Bluff on Saturday at Sulphur Springs Methodist Church on Jan. 24Th at 7pm. Join us for a concert. Sunday morning has not been booked, yet and we hope the Lord will open a door for that service. We will be returning to Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Camden, AR on Sunday, Jan 25Th at 6pm for an evening service. This gives you seven opportunities to join us in service this week. If you can't be there, please join us in prayer for each of the services. As we stood in the pew on Sunday night, the pastor asked us to think of one person, we know that is loss. We lifted these names up to the Lord. He challenge us to befriend this person, and allow God to direct us to share Christ with this person. Today, I want to share Christ with you. Rather saved or loss, I want to encourage you to turn your life over to Him today. If you are lost, He is the answer. If you are discourage, He is the encourager. If things are just wonderful, remember He is the provider. I want to share this, that I wrote and put on my fridge, months ago. It helps me to keep things in perspective, daily. Who is God.. He is the light in a dark room. John 12:46 He is the hope in a dying world. Psalm 68:20 He is the friend, in a lonely hour. Proverbs 18:24 He is the guide in a confused life. Psalm 144:2 He is the anchor in an unsettled storm. Hebrews 6:19 He is the comforter in an endless struggle. Psalm 62:7 He is the healer for a suffering person. Psalm 103:3 He is the provider in a hopeless situation. 1 Peter 4:11 He is the breeze on a hot day. Psalm 147:18 He is the sustainer in a sinking ship. Psalm 54:4 Who is he to you? Make your list, or use mine and claim these promises daily. You can find a scripture for all your needs. | Are you following THE LIGHT? The Crusader's Quartet trust that you had a Christ Centered Christmas and Celebration. We have been off the road and home for the Holidays with our families.
We ended the year at Four Square Church in Benton, AR at a midnight service. The Crusader's and the evangelist from a neighboring church, challenge us to Keep our eyes on the Master. As waves and storms come in our lives, it is easy to take our eyes off the Master of the Sea. But, we are directed by the Bible to focus on Jesus, during these times. Four Square Church has been faithful to the Lord, and it shows in the service, as Bro. Brewer spirit flowed over into the service. Four square Church, has been a part of The Crusader's ministry since the early 1990's. We thank them for what they stand for, and supporting The Crusader's through the years. We enjoyed a wonderful fellowship, music, preaching, and rejoice at the offering they graciously gave to The Crusader's.
This past week-end took The Crusader's Quartet to Central Baptist Church, in Texarkana, for the first time. They enjoyed a wonderful service there and are looking forward to being back there in May for the Sr. Adult Day. The Church provided The Crusader's with a love offering and a wonderful dinner at a restaurant. We thank them for their kindness and God has given us an extended family, in this church.
Now, as the week-end nears, The Crusader's head to New Boston, Texas to First Baptist Church for January 10Th, Saturday night. I ask you to lift up this service in prayer. But, I also ask you to lift us Mike Phillips. The concert is a benefit for him and his family. Mike was diagnosis with lymphonia a few months ago. If you can support this concert, I ask you to join us. The Crusader's will join The Grace Boys, The Downs Sisters, Jubilee Quartet, Sam Yancy, Mike Powell, and Don Peace and others. It is sure to be a great night of music. Concert starts at 6:00 pm.
If you are in the east Texas area, join us at Hopewell Baptist Church in Lindale / Tyler, Texas on Sunday, January 11Th am. The Crusader's will be at Mt. Selman Baptist Church at Tyler / Bullard, Texas at 6pm. We are so looking forward to being in these services.
God is allowing us to minister more than we ever thought possible. But, all things are possible, through Christ who strengthens me. Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God." Mark 10:27
The Crusader's finished 2008 with 93 services and not only our lives were changed, so were many in the services. You can not out give God. The more you go, the more you do, the more he works in your life to accomplish the work He has begun in you. The Crusader's already have 49 services schedule for this year, and I look for us to be busy again in 2009. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12: 1-3.
As I chose the right email Christmas card, many of you viewed, I watched as the wise men rode their camels in the direction of the bright star. I watched it over and over again. And God spoke to my heart, and I ask you what he impressed on me.. What are you willing to do? Am I willing to go towards the light and not away? Will the light draw me to it? More than that will I be drawn to it? Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:22 I have challenge my family, and let me challenge you. Most of us are on the computer everyday. I challenge you to set up to read the Bible all the way through this year. I am afraid the world needs to hear the word, more today than they did yesterday.
We must be in God's word, to overcome ourselves, and to help others through these critical times. There is an on-line website www.bibleyear.com. You can chose your Bible translation and the reading plan. Also, I suggest you set up a daily Bible reading on line also. I have enjoyed and grown from this, the past several years. Will you take the challenge? It will make an eternal and internal difference in your life.

| FEASTING AT THE TABLE IN NOV. The Crusader's hosted the 7Th Annual Quartet Convention the 7Th and 8Th of Nov. It was once again one of the best concerts, we have ever hosted. God always sends each of us just what we need. The crowds were large, topping out at approximately 1200 people for the three concerts. The Groups were awesome, blessing our hearts with songs and testimonies. Our scripture was, As for me and my houshold,we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15. This week-end prove to be a recommittment to serve the Lord and to lead our families in worship, prayer and in His will. Fri night began with an awesome concert of returning groups and friends: New Liberty Quartet, Crosspoint Quartet, Velvet Ridge, David and Haley Patillo, Mike Goodwin, His Call Ministries and Zack Swain. Joining us for the first time was Pardoned Ministries and Homesteader's Quartet and Melinda Hand. Sat. afternoon brought Heaven's Echoes, without Gus, who was out of town. and Karion Taylor and Josh Kee, both former members of The Crusader's, to the stage. There were many highlights of the week-end, especially for the groups, who shared in Midnight sings and fellowship after concerts, Sat. morning breakfast and worship with marriage seminars and a Sunday farewell dinner. Area churches hosted the groups from Ar, La, TX, Miss., and OK. The phone continues to ring, visits are still being made, and emails are coming daily, on hos blessed people were that attended the DSRQC. We give the Lord the praise in all things. He has done a mighty work and The Crusader's thank Him for that. We thank each of you that share in The Deep South Regional Quartet Convention. Through your prayers, financial support and attendance allows The Crusader's to host this event each year. One person missing this year from the stage was Terry Martin with New Liberty Quartet. Terry had been hospitalized earlier in the week with complications of diabetes and fluid. Terry had cold blue and we lost him for 15 minutes on Monday. But, Terry joined us by cell phone, and as He sung by speaker, a song he had wrote. The crowd cheered and prayed for him. The Crusader's spent the next week-end in Logan, Texas for a family reunion. The Crusader's were welcome with a large meal and a four hour singing was enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere, of friends and family. The week-end was so uplifting as The Crusader's met with Logan Assembly of God on Sunday morning. The Crusader's led worship and there was a sweet spirit of the Lord in the church. We enjoyed a meal with the church family, before heading home. On Wed, the 19Th, The Crusader's were honored to return to Pleasant Grove Christian Church for the closing service of their revival. It was a blessing to be with them and share Christ one again. God has put a lead guitarist in our midst, the last couple of singings. We have been blessed to have Randy Ortigo play. We pray for direction, with his family as he prays about traveling with The Crusader's in 2009. God has given each of us talents and gifts. We all need to focus on what God would have us to do for His Service. His master, said. " Well, done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master'shappiness!" Matthew 25:23 As we sat home on Sat. night, preparing to go to our home church, a phone message was answered. We found that Blanchard Springs Baptist Church of Junction City had called, wanting us to join them for their morning Thanksgiving service. We begin to prepare to leave early the next morning. Our friends, New Reason, due to illness, had canceled. But, God allows The Crusader's to be a part of a very special service on that morning. As the service ended, the spirit of the Lord fell on the service, as ones prayed in the alters and a sweet embrace of a father and daughter touched all of us. The Church joined The Crusader's in prayer for their pastor. We were able to make it back to Immanuel Baptist Church on Sun night for The Thanksgiving Dinner. As ones gave testimony after the feast, and feasting on the Word. I wonder if I had quench the spirit by not giving my testimony of Thanks. But, most of you know I am a much better writer than speaker. But, I thought of the new song Jonathan has learned. " The Lord has been good to me. Though I have had my share of trials, the good times out weigh the bad. The Lord has been so good to me. " This is an awesome song. I give praise for a life of trials and blessings. If we had not gone through the trials, we might not have the close relationship with Christ. He is in control, and we pray for direction each day. As the holiday approaches, and my heart aches for more time with my mom, who went home to the Lord, 10 weeks ago, I am reminded...The Lord has been so good to me. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 I have the reassurance that she is feasting at the table with the Lord, and it wont be long until we will all join her. Make your reservation now, to join us, because there will come a day, when it will be too late to call upon the name of the Lord.17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. Revelations 22:17 The Crusader's finish out Nov. with a service on the 30Th at Salem Baptist Church in Benton. We also finish the year at 4 Square Baptist Church of Benton on Dec. 31st. Continue to pray for The Crusader's as they seek to Spread the Word of Christ through song, as the Lord leads and doors are opened. The year 2009 is lining up to be a busy year for The Crusader's. | FATHER KNOWS BEST The Crusader's were at Baptist Tabernacle Church in Shreveport, LA on Sunday night, October 26Th. The crowd was delighted to see The Crusader's. It had been several years, since time had allowed us to be there to worship with them. The Crusader's sung to a great crowd, wanting to worship the Lord. We were able to minister to many after the service, who were hurting. I ask you to lift up Bro. James Camp, our dear friend, who is taking radiation again for reoccurring cancer. His faith and love for The Lord is always a light to us.
David spoke of the things, only the Lord could do. He made reference to the beautiful color on the trees, right now. The bright sunshine flowing through the windshield, and warming the bus. We are so blessed. Let's not forget the little details of life, God has worked out. He put this whole universe in to existence for His Glory. Take a moment and thank the Lord for His Creation and what a blessing it is to be born in the USA. For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure. Proverbs 11:14 We have a great opportunity to share Christ everyday with people. It may be through a call, a spoken word, a letter, an email or a prayer for them. We must stop and realize what God is in control of, and let Him Control. We should enjoy and follow Him. It's kind of like "Father Knows Best". Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.Ephesians 1:3 The only way, we will know what The Father wants is to build a relationship with Him, and Seek to Keep His Commandments and follow the rules, He has set out for us. Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance. Proverbs 1:5 Sat., Nov. 1st The Crusader's will be at First Baptist Church, De queen, AR at the 4 States GMA Concert. There will be 26 different groups there. This will be an awesome time of worship for all who attend.
The time is here. THE 7TH ANNUAL DEEP SOUTH REGIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION, hosted by The Crusader's Quartet, will be next week-end. Dates are Nov. 7Th and 8Th at Immanuel Baptist Church in Magnolia, AR. Look on www.dsrqc.com for list of groups. We have the best of the best this year. There will be 9 groups and 4 soloist. This is the convention, that people attending come on Fri. night and don't miss a moment of it, Friday or Saturday. Concert begins at 6 pm Friday, Nov. 7TH. There are two concerts on Sat. The first begins at 1:00 pm and the night one begins at 7pm. You will hear great Southern Gospel Music. Also, you will get to share in their testimonies of Faith, through sickness, loneliness, loss of family members, addiction to drugs and many other battles of this world. You will want to sit back and Worship and Rejoice in the Lord, as they give the Lord the Glory for the Great Things He has Done.
But, as for me and my houshold, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15. Please pray now for this convention, and what the Lord has in store for each of us.

| WE PRESS ON The Crusader's Press on to serve their Mighty Savior. The Crusader's had a concert in Gurdon this pass Saturday at Centerpoint Baptist Church. The church so graciously extended a hand out to The Crusader's. It was a good service and a very nice fellowship meal. We left there on Saturday night. WE PRESS ON... We were in the 100Th year Celebration of the Nazarene Church at Heber Springs on Sunday morning. What a great celebration time for them. We rejoice with them in the baptism of six, the joining of new members and the communion observed by the church, on this special day. Their worship leader, sung We press on. It was a message for each Christian there. Though we are tired and weary, and disappointed at times; we press on. We press on; when the road seems long, and the mountains are steep . We press on in Jesus' name. We find the strength to press on. The Crusader's led in an afternoon concert. We have made special friends in the Lord, at Heber Springs! We praise the Lord for the invitation to be back with them in 2009. WE PRESS ON.... As the service closed and we begin to gather our equipment, another door was opened. Our friends, the Cox family, had joined us for the service. Their church had just poured a slab and stud walls were up, for the building of a new church building. How exciting to see God growing a church! We were asked to join them in leading worship at their first service "on the slab". Each Crusader was excited to be a part of this service. When God leads, we know to follow. WE PRESS ON... What a wonderful service. Many were surprise to see there was a southern gospel quartet to lead in worship. As the sun begin to set, the SON begin to work. I have always said, God just reveals Himself in a mighty way, at an outdoor service to me. As we sat in folding chairs, on a concrete slab with no walls, no ceiling, we worshipped God. We thank the Lord for giving this church a vision, for the community. As the invitation came, tears flowed as the members of the church, fell on their knees, on the dirty concrete floor to lift up prayer request for each other, their church and their vision. WE PRESS ON... As the man, on crutches fell to his knees with his son of around 5 years old, to pray, we begin to thank the Lord. As he begin to return to his seat, his younger son of two or so, met him in the aisle to come to the front and pray. He returned to the alter to drop to his knees again to pray with this little fellow. For those of us, who had regained our com-posture, lost it once again, in praise to a mighty King. WE PRESS ON.... I thank you, so many, who have prayed, emailed and sent cards and flowers during the loss of my mom. I have felt your prayers and the hand of God on me through these days. I have missed writing as much as many of you have missed the news letter. The Crusader's have sung seventeen times in the last seven week-ends. I am sorry I was not able to share each and every service with you. WE PRESS ON.... THE CRUSADER'S QUARTET WILL BE IN MAGNOLIA, AR AT IMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH THIS SAT. ON OCT 11TH AT 7 P.M.This is The Talley's home church and we are excited to share with them this week-end. WE PRESS ON... We have exciting news: Jonathan Talley is now singing lead for The Crusader's. Steve who plays bass, is also singing tenor. We embrace the change, and are excited about where the Lord is leading The Crusader's. WE PRESS ON... Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As sure as the son rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth. Hosea 6:3 Join us or pray for us as we travel on Sunday Oct. 12Th, to New Hope Church in El dorado area 10:45 am service and Three Creeks Baptist Church in Junction City, 6 pm service. WE PRESS ON... Mark your calenders for the Deep South Regional Quartet Convention at Immanuel Baptist Church: Nov 7Th and 8Th. WE PRESS ON...

| WAKE UP AMERICA The Crusader's Quartet left on Saturday, August 9Th to sing at The Zack Swain Homecoming Concert, held in Greenbrier, AR. We had a great concert and a wonderful crowd. It was good to see Zack celebrate His Ministry and service to the Lord. Cross Point Quartet was also there. Both of these will be at the DSRQC, Nov. 7th and 8th at Immanuel Baptist Church in Magnolia.
On Sunday morning we had a very worshipful service at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Clinton, AR. We enjoyed a beautiful drive up the mountain, even with the rain. No wonder the pastor, came out to the main road and led us in! The Crusader's delivered a powerful service. Each one of us have a testimony. Share your testimony today with someone, and make a difference. We worship a mighty and alive Lord. It was a blessing to worship with this church. We enjoyed a lunch and then loaded up and headed to Marshall, AR. Thank you Pleasant Valley for your hospitality.
Upon leaving Magnolia, we got behind the evangelist, Jack David Daniels. Once Jack realized The Crusader's bus was behind his bus. He flagged us over. The Crusader's and Bro. Jack knew God had made a divine appointment. The Sunday night service, for us, had not been filled, and Bro. Jack, asked us to join him for revival, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Marshall, AR.
The Crusader's were ready to allow God to use them. Christians, we need to be ready to serve God when a door is open. Do Not Hesitate. People are dying and going to Hell, while we decide if it fits into our schedule rather than to serve God. That makes no sense to me. Are we not created for His purpose? It was not easy for any of us to get in at 3 am and be up and headed to work by 6 and 7 am. But, the rewards from the Lord, always out weighs the sacrifice. On Monday morning, my family was on the road by 7 am to take my mom to a week long treatment for cancer at MD Anderson Hospital.
Joining Bro. Jack Daniel's for the revival, was a blessing. Bro. Horton and his church family were very loving and receptive to The Crusader's joining in, on their revival. We look forward to joining them again. Thank you Morning Star Church for the blessing you were to each one of us. We praise the Lord for the people that were saved in the morning service. We were introduced to the deacon, who was saved in that service. I looked at him. I looked at his wife. I looked at his children. I thought how deceiving looks are to the human eye. He looked like a young man, with a beautiful family, that had it all together. I am sure he did. except, he didn't have Jesus in his heart. I want to scream, "WAKE UP AMERICA". Friend deceives friend, and no one speaks the truth. They have taught their tongues to lie; they weary themselves with sinning. Jeremiah 9:5.
You will meet people today, I will never meet. You live close to and work with people, I will never know. Don't be deceive and think they look like they have it all together. Ask them if they know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and if they are living for them. It is not enough to ask them, if they are a church member. There are church members dying and going to Hell.
Last Sunday, the 17Th of August, The Crusader's were at Faith Baptist Church Homecoming. Congratulations on your Celebration! We enjoyed a great morning service and afternoon concert. The Crusader's sung and share testimony to a great crowd. Thank you Faith Baptist for the privilege to worship with you. Thank you for the meal and love offering to further our ministry. This catches you up on the past two weeks of The Crusader's Ministry.
This week-end The Crusader's will join other groups, including The Hawkins Family, at Hickory Hill Outdoor Ampi--theater at Hot Springs. Concert is Sat, August 23rd at 6:30 pm. If you are looking for an end of the summer outing. The concert is free. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy this beautiful park. If you know someone in the Hot Springs area, called and tell them The Crusader's will lead worship to be there and at Grande Avenue Baptist Church on Sunday morning and Pearcy Baptist Church on Sunday night.
Plan ahead and start praying for The Crusader's for August 31st. They will lead worship at Calvary Baptist Church in Mena, AR on Sunday morning. First Baptist Church in Hatfield, AR on Sunday evening, will be where you will find The Crusader's leading worship at 6pm.
Start a prayer list if you don't have one, and put The Crusader's Quartet on it. We desire your prayers. If your church or event wishes to book The Crusader's for 2008 or 2009, please call David at 870-904-3118. Complete schedule can be viewed at www.thecrusadersquartet.com

| HOLY REALIGNMENT The Crusader's have been busy the last two week-ends. First, we were in Heber Springs. This a great outdoor concert with many groups each night. It is annual event, The Bud Mangess Gospel Sing the third Friday and Sat. in July at Heber Springs, Spring Park. This is worth marking your calender and attending next year. I would say it is probably one of the top five best outdoor singings The Crusader's have performed at. A great week-end of good friends, fellowship and lots of singing and eating! Thank you the Cox Family and Mangess Family for the invite.
We had a great privilege to lead worship at The Nazarene Church of Heber Springs on Sunday morning. The Lord just opened the flood gates and let the waters flow in. Oh, my goodness, I can't tell you in words, what each one of The Crusader's experience in this service. The Church was worshiping the Lord, and were drawn near Him, as The Crusader's sung, shared testimony and also knelt on the stage and in the alters and prayed. Many in the church in the pews and alters were doing business with God. God was merciful and came and sat with us in the service. As the pastor prayed in the beginning...He prayed for a Holy Realignment. The words rang in my mind, as the service continue. A Holy Realignment, this is what each person needs, lost or saved. When you call upon Jesus for that Realignment:
1. You don't need an appointment. Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer. Psalm 4:1
2. There is no waiting. I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer. Psalm 17:8
3. You will receive 100 % satisfaction guaranteed. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Matthew 21:22
The Crusader's were in concert at Hope this past week-end. The people and Churches of Hope were so generous to give of there money and time to help the Nancy Burke family. We thank all who had a part in this benefit. The Crusader's were so blessed to be asked to assist in this benefit. Anyone wanting to help Bro. Ricky Burke, can through Nancy Burke Memorial Fund at the bank in Hope.
The Crusader's ended the week-end with a great morning service at Bodcaw Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Evans preaching. God allowed us to witness, testify, and minister to many through word and prayer after the service. He has given each of us a mission to share His Love with a dying world. I read this week, that a million plus people are dying without Christ. Examine yourself within, and ask what can I do. God has a mission for you. You must answer the Call if you are a child of the King. It is the plan He has for your life, to give Him your life, for His Honor and Glory. Find the lost people around you. Be the Light in their cold and dying world. Outside of Christ they have no hope. You can bring the Hope to them through the leading and following of the Holy Spirit. As you pray this week, please include our dear pastor friend, Bro. Jerry Evans. He goes for surgery to remove a tumor August 13Th.
If you are looking to attend a concert or service with The Crusader's, see our complete schedule at www.thecrusadersquartet.com The Crusader's will be in concert on August 9Th at Greenbrier at the Nazarene Church at the Zack Swain Homecoming. Zack is a young man, that God has gifted with an amazing ability to play the piano. We enjoyed him several years ago as He performed at the Deep South Regional Quartet Convention with Crosspoint. He will be performing this year as a soloist as the dsrqc. Also on August 10Th at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at Damascus, AR.
Blessings to all, The Crusader's Quartet Penney, wife of a Crusader

| BARABBAS, THE THIEF AND ME This newsletter is coming to you a week late. It was in the works, and I want you to enjoy it...but, I had to make a run to MD Anderson on Wed. and didn't get to finish it.
I first received a call and then the email, from our lead singer, Paul Stubbs. Paul is such a blessing, and felt led to help with the newsletter this week. Thanks Paul. Paul writes:
This past weekend (June 12Th and 13Th) was great. Saturday night we sang at Buchanan Baptist church in Texarkana. The singing was good and enjoyed visiting with other group members and friends. Sunday morning we were at Mandeville Baptist and had a wonderful service. God's presence was so strong that morning.I came into the service with a heavy heart because of some things that were missing in my life, but God showed me that everything was going to be all right. I just have to wait on God because he has his perfect time. Sometimes as a singer I get so focused on ministering to other people, that I seem to forget I need ministering to as well. I feel I received that during that service. It was great seeing David Patillo over the weekend and I brought two of his Cd's home and have been playing them in my car this whole week. Wow! He is so anointed in his music and I have felt that all week thru his singing. God is so good and I know he is going to keep blessing as long as we continue to lift up his name. GOD BLESS YOU ALL..Paul Stubbs
Paul speaks of singing with David Patillo this week-end. It was a blessing to rekindle that friendship for all of us. David is an awesome writer and singer. He wrote the song Ten Thousand Angels, and The Middle Man, along with 450 more. David joined The Crusader's for our service on Sun. morning. He and The Crusader's blessed our hears as he sung, The Middle Man. The song speaks of Barabbas going free, and the thieves on the cross...and I wonder what do we have in common with a murderer and thief. We are all sinners, and doomed for Hell, outside of acceptance of Jesus. Jesus took Barabbas' place on the cross that day. Jesus was the innocent one, but the crowd chose to free Barabbas and condemn the Lord. Jesus not only took Barabbas' place on the cross, but He took mine. He, also took yours. The difference between Barabbas, the thief and me: The thief and I chose to accept the Lord as our Savior. Do you love the middle man? If you love Him, Accept Him as Savior and Live for Him.
On July 25Th, The Crusader's will be hosting a benefit in memory of Nancy Burke of Hope, AR. Nancy, was a preacher's wife, and a dear friend. Nancy's husband, Ricky, was our, the Talley's pastor, back in the late 1980's. Come join us for a dinner and concert on July 25Th at Hope Fairgrounds. Love offering will be taken. Nancy went to be with the Lord on July 17Th. Join us for this event will be Glory Train from Mena and Mike Goodwin from Magnolia, AR
On July 27Th, The Crusader's will lead worship at Bodcaw Baptist Church at Rosston, AR at 10:45 a.m.

| THE ANCHOR HOLDS The Crusader's Quartet didn't sing this week-end. It made for a long week-end. Anyone who is called into the ministry, understands, the desire of the heart is to be busy about God's work. The week before turned out to be just another blessed week-end. The Crusader's lead worship at Pinecroft Baptist church in Shreveport, LA on Sun. am. Anyone in the Taylor / Sarepta area remembers a "young" Marty Wright, that the Lord was working overtime in using him. Well, through the years, The Crusader's have on numerous times been asked to come lead worship in the churches He has pastored. We count it a blessing and The Crusader's and Pinecroft had a wonderful service. Although the a/c in auditorium went out, and services were held in the gym. The Lord is there where ever two or three are gathered in His Name. The Crusader's left Shreveport after a nice lunch and headed for Minden, LA. Beech Springs Baptist Church is also a church that has opened it's doors to The Crusader's in the past. Bro. Ronnie Whitlock, the pastor, was my parent's pastor for many years in Shongaloo. Although I was unable to attend either service. I waited and prayed with anticipation of what The Lord would do. The phone call soon came after each service. The excitement in the voices on the other end, told me God was Faithful. I was anxious to hear from them. They shared the story of practicing the song, "The Anchor Holds" for the first time. They had discuss this song for a few weeks, but hadn't found time to work on it. So, in the afternoon as they set sound, the song was sung. Later that evening in the service, as Earl asked for a request from the crowd, the words The Anchor Holds, rung out. At the point, they knew the song was right on time, with God's timing. That song is so powerful. I encourage you to look up the lyrics and meditate on them. Also www.youtube.com is a good place to pull up a song. The Anchor holds.wow. Aren't we glad the anchor holds. Through life we are torn and battered, and we know there is power on our knees, when we come to Jesus. I relate to that, but also relate to the part: I've had visions, I've had dreams, I've even held them in my hands... I was young, and now I am older..there has been beauty I have seen...But it was in the storm on life..God proved His love for me. Each one of us have seen something slip away from us. It might be a job, a house, a dream of college, a desire for a baby, a marriage, a love one. The Lord is the anchor during this time of our lives. Read Acts 27 for a recap of Paul and the other prisoners on the ship that became shipwreck. We can't run back the clock, but we can enjoy the moments now. We must live for The Lord now. Our desires are not always His desires. Spend time each day praying for calmness and reassurance is your storms of life, and the direction you take as dreams fade away like the sunlight on a sunny day. This may be one of the best week-ends Texarkana has seen in Southern Gospel Music. I have seen the line up for both Fri. and Sat.night at Buchanan Baptist Church. The Crusader's will perform on Sat. night, in the first half.. Services start 7:00 pm on Fri. and 6:00 on Sat. You'll also have a chance to vote on your favorite soloist and group. We will end our week-end at Mandeville Baptist Church in Texarkana on Sun, July 13Th 10:45 am service. Bro. Pebbles invites everyone to come and join us for the morning service and also lunch. Now for all you, who like to travel or live close to Heber Springs,AR, we have our first opportunity to sing at The 36Th Annual Bud Magness Memorial Gospel Quartet Singing on July 18Th and 19Th 7pm nightly. This is an outdoor singing at the City Park. We will be joined that Week-end by Crosspoint Quartet and Hawkins Family(who will also be at Texarkana Sat.) Also appearing in Heber Springs will be Velvet Ridge, Hallelujah Harmony, Mercy River Boys and The Apostles, Gospel Echoes. It will be a nice week-end drive. Bring a lawn chair and come join us. On Sunday 20Th am service, we will be leading worship in the Nazarene church of Heber Springs. As you can see, the next two week-ends are full of gospel singing and we need your prayers.

| You can't bottle it, You can't sale it If everyday could be like last Sunday, we would just praise the Lord, all day long. The Crusader's Quartet were leading worship at Double Wells Assembly of God in Pine Bluff for their homecoming service and afternoon singing. As the pastor said you can't Bottle it, you can't sale it, and you can't contain it in a container. But, you know when the Holy Spirit, shows up. As the Holy Spirit moved in the singing and the preaching, The Lord begin a work. Five people were saved in the service. Amen, Amen, Amen. One song, sung by the church was, "He'll do it again.". It was a song that touched me. As I reflect over that song...you may not know when, you may now how..but He will do it again. I thought of how many things in my life He has brought me through. He is there for each one of us. He has brought me through financial trials, disappointments of life, loss of love ones, and now we face health problems with my mom. So, the song rang loud in my ears. The Lord had a message for me, that day in that song. And it was confirmed again, the following day as we pulled up to park at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston on Monday for appointments. David had found a gospel radio station, in the Houston area and guess what song came on. Yep. You are right. "He'll do it again" . He is there to carry us through the storms of our lives. He knows your hurt. He knows what you are going through. He can calm the storm. He is the Master of the Sea of Life. Luke 8:24, The disciples went and woke him, and said, "Master, Master we are going to drown!" He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. " Where is your faith?" he asked his disciples. I find comfort in the fact the the Lord will calm the storms of life. When He speaks the winds stop blowing, and the raging waters that splashes against us, are calmed. Remember the disciples went to the Lord, and asked for help in the storm. I believe we are to ask and have faith in our prayers and make known the desires of our hearts known to the Lord. The Crusader's will lead worship at Pinecroft Baptist Church in Shreveport, on June 29Th am and Beech Springs Baptist Church in the pm service. If you are looking for an opportunity to hear many groups in one concert, it is coming up. Join us at the 4 states GMA Concert July 11Th and 12Th at Buchanan Baptist Church in Texarkana. The Crusader's will be singing on Sat. the 12Th. You can see a list of others singing at www.heavensound.com (click on state - Texas and July calender, scroll to dates) This will be a great two nights of Southern Gospel Music. I encourage each one of you in driving distance to come for one night if not both. We have the second shipment of The Crusader's Quartet's two new CD's. Call or email if you haven't got them. You can purchase either for $15.00 each. They have a great selection of southern gospel songs. The Crusader's are getting many reports on how they are blessing people who have bought them. | HEAVENLY FATHER THOU ARE LOVED The Crusader's had a wonderful, exciting, and safe trip to Tulsa. The Crusader's sung to the biggest crowd (approximately 1300 people) at the concert, they have ever had the privilege to share Christ with. Paul joked and asked him if they thought The Gaither's were going to be there! We look forward to the invitation to be back there in the next year. God puts you, where you can be the best for him. He put a nice lady in the audience that help Earl with the swelling in his hands, from the lawnmower accident. There were many things going on at the concert, from reunion of meeting long time friends, and making new friends. But, more than anything, it was the powerful uplifting of His name through song and testimony. They have a great team working to put a great night of Southern Gospel Music for the Tulsa Area. It was Awesome to see so many people coming out to hear Southern Gospel Music. I look around and wonder why the world sees so many things more important than Christ. There is coming a day when all we bow before Him. Psalm 22:27 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord and all the families of the nation will bow down before Him. Please make your preparation for that day now. The Crusader's headed back to AR and lead worship at the Nazarene Church of Greenwood on Sun. This was a great refreshing church that open their doors to The Crusader's; also preparing a fellowship for all. Thank you both Oklahoma and Greenwood for graciously extending a warm hand of Christian fellowship to each of The Crusader's.
As I told you in the past, The Crusader's just love Pine Bluff and Pine Bluff loves The Crusader's. But, most of all we all love the Lord and love to share in it. The Crusader's will lead worship and an afternoon singing at The Double Well Assembly of God this Sunday, June 22ND at Pine Bluff. We look forward to this service and meeting each one that comes for their Homecoming Service.
As we celebrated Father's day, this week, I want to share with you a writing, I already shared with the ones that attended The Crusader's 20th year reunion. My dad, LaVelle Wise, from Shongaloo, LA was very special to me and he passed away in 2004. Have you ever seen two peas in a pod? Like an english pea pod. They are all wedged in there, snugglely and no room for any more. My dad, who has gone on to Heaven, used to say me and him, were like two peas in a pod. For weeks, that saying keeps coming to mind. Even though my Dad and I were not a lot alike. He instilled in me a lot of good traits. He was strong will, and didn't sway from his ideas, thoughts and convictions. He just wasn't going to budge. Good for me, he was a good moral man, or we could have easily been led down the wrong road. I see that trait in myself, with my family: That something is right, and this is the way it should be. Spend your time doing the right things, and you don't have time, interest or concern in doing the wrong thing. I imagine now my Dad and my Heavenly Dad are two peas in a pod, now. I imagine how it would be to be snuggled right up at the foot of Jesus. To be able to sit there and just worship. That is a beautiful picture in my mind. So, if you need someone to snuggle with, to become close to, to be in unity with, consider Your Heavenly Father. His presences in your life, will impact you forever. So, I smile inside right now and say Thanks Dad. You'll never know how that saying has impacted my life. Our Heavenly Father: Takes good care of us: Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable then they? Spiritual Blessings : Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Example for Forgiveness: Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will forgive you.
Remember your Heavenly Father loves you very much and He wants to spend time with you each and every day. He wants the best for you. He created you not for your glory, your desires but for His will. He has a plan for your life. Be careful, are you will get in the way of those plans, by not following him and you might find yourself following the world. When we take control, we kinda mess up things and leave him out. But, when we let Him take control, pray for direction, listen for guidance and Seek and Serve Him, any ordinary day will become Unordinary. Join us if possible at Pinecroft Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA at 10:45 am and Beech Springs Baptist Church at 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 29th. | Find the part... The Crusader's were at Lawson Baptist Church this past week-end. This church is starting a 5Th Sat. night gospel singing. The next one is August 30Th. They are trying to offer a great evening of concerts for the area. Please support this church at these singings. It's great to see churches, offering the world something to do on Sat. night of value. We had a great time. The family of ladies that sung blessed our hearts and could SING!! Wow.. They, too were so anointed by The Lord. The Crusader's had a great time having Sara, one of the daughters, join them on stage for a song. It was a very Christ filled service. As the invitation neared you could feel the Spirit of the Lord in the building, and I pray each one was drawed nearer to The Lord. After a great fellowship meal, The Crusader's begin to tear down the equipment, and found themselves singing around the piano with church members and relaxing and having a good time, till 11 o'clock. We returned to Magnolia for the night and started Sunday morning at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Magnolia. We have been going back to Mt. Vernon for years to sing. The Crusader's are always greeted with a big Welcome there. As The Crusader's sung, many were touched and moved by the songs. Myself sitting behind, a young father of three, was moved as he wept through several songs. One of his daughters, sitting by him showed she cared, as she looked up to him and smiled, and hugged on him with concern. What an awesome testimony of God working in that family's life. So many songs were sung that blessed my life and those around us. The Crusader's sung a new one David wrote and also a new one Jonathan and Paul wrote.
The Crusader's ask for your prayers for each one of us, but especially for these: Jerry Clark, bass singer - had a stint put in Heart on Fri. and is still having some recovering issues. Earl, tenor, had a lawnmower accident and is mending well but has some pulled muscles. Former members Berry Lindsey - had spell with heart last week-end while singing at outside gospel concert. Ken Wyrick, former drummer- has back surgery in two weeks(13Th). Dan Taylor, former Crusader's mom is on her death bed in Florida, and hospice has been called. My mom is schedule for testing at MD Anderson June 11Th for cancer. We love all of these and their ministry, so please join us in prayer. There are many more prayer concerns of The Crusader's and can see on www.myspace.com/thecrusadersquartet Please view, if you will join us in lifting up these request.
In the last two weeks I have acquired not one but two Victrola. And you ask why? I guess the Love of music. We like having an old instrument and are just curious about it. We set out to get a record player, and we don't have it yet. We went back a few more years!! As both of the Victrola sit right by each other, I looked at them today, as God spoke to me. One is smaller, plays well, and is hollow inside, with just a big open space. The other sits up much taller, is of more value, has many shelves inside to store records, but doesn't play because of a lost part. Although different, so much alike. I thought of our lives, we are much like the Victrola. We are all different sizes, but we are all of equal value to Christ. Inside we carry many memories, that makes us who we are today. Some of us are more hollow on the inside, because we have missed out on memories. Sometimes allowing pride, selfishness and other issues get into the way of those memories. I notice that the hollow one, was the one that played. Sometime on the outside we are saying we are OK, but on the inside we are hurting. Maybe because of past relationship, struggles of family and church, yes even from church issues, we can become hollow inside. But, the real problem is the lost part with the Victrola. It can't be it's best without the lost part. The part we need as people is Jesus Christ. Oh, we can play the part, of a spouse, a parent, a child, an employee, a friend and a church member--and still be hollow inside. You can be any of these things, and still not be what Christ wants you to be. You see he is the Part, you are looking for, in all things. The Bible is the guide for us in all things. Do you want to be the best in all areas of your life? You can be. Take your Bible, pray and ask God to show you how to improve your life in these areas. Spouse - 1 Peter 3:7 Husbands, in the same way be considerate to your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner, and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers. Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit to your husband as to the Lord. Parent - Acts 10:2 - He and all his family were devout and God- fearing ; He gave all generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. Child - Colossi ans 3' 20 - Children obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord Employee -(by God) 1 Corinthians 3:9 - For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building. Friend - 3 John 1:11 Dear friend, Do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. Church Member - Psalm 35:18 - I will give you thanks in the great assembly; among thongs of people I will praise you. He is all things to all people. The Lord is there, all we have to do is to give those areas of our lives to him daily. Chose today to let God begin to work in those areas and others of your life. The Crusader's are off to Borken Arrow, OK on Saturday morning, June 7Th. It is a long ride and I ask you all to pray for their safety on the road and to revive them physically and spiritually for the services at The Assembly. www.southerngospelworship.com We are still asking God to open a door up for the Sunday morning service. They will work their way back to Greenwood, AR. for a service on Sunday night at the Greenwood Church of the Nazarene. Blessings to you all,

| Your only chance to Survive The Crusader's Quartet were in Monroe last week-end for three services. We had a really awesome time at all three services. We met some really great singers from Mississippi and enjoyed singing with our special friends from LA and AR. We also enjoyed Gary Sheperd, the former tenor singer for The Kingsmen, who sung and MC the Camp Meeting. The Crusader's led worship at The Lighthouse Church in Monroe, La. God used The Crusader's and the pastor's sermon to move up on hearts of His people. I remember a young blonde girl, who came and just fell down before me in the pew and seemed to be weeping and praying. I ask you to lift her up in prayer. We met so many nice people at this church. God was gracious to us this week-end. We returned back to Homer, LA to the Hope Worship Center. That is a good name for the body of worshipers at this church. Hope was brought to us all in a close and powerful worship service of The Crusader's. Earl had not been with us on Sat. or Sun. morning and we were praising God for allowing Him to feel like being there and singing at Homer. Many other blessings were experienced also. God will work in our lives when we allow Him to. Jonathan sung one of my favorite songs, now, "I am the Water". Every time I hear it, it ministers to me in a different way. But, as he sung the song, and the words still ring in my mind....I am your only chance to survive. Oh, if we can only grasp that...and live like we believe it. With my Mom, facing cancer now, those words seemed to stand out to me. You don't have to be dying...to be dying. Did you get that..?? Psalm 94:17 - Unless the Lord had given me hope, I would soon have dealt in the silence of death. Every breath we take, we are one breath closer to eternity. He is our only chance of survival. He gives us life. He is not only our only chance here...He is our only chance of survival in eternity. So that having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs, having the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:7 Eternity without The Lord will be a terrible unbearable existence, in Hell. The Lord is our hope for eternal survival. Make Him your Lord today. Psalm 116: 6 The Lord protects the simple hearted; when I was in great need, He saved me. I want you to know in advance (so you can make plants to be there!!), we will be in Lawson, AR (close to Eldorado) on May 31st, which is a Sat. night at 7pm. This is the first, of what we hope are many Sat. night singings for them. We will be at Lawson Baptist Church. We count it an honor for The Crusader's Quartet to kick off their first Sat. night singing. We have had this singing on our prayer list for many weeks and we are going expecting God to do great things.
The Crusader's have two open dates coming up pretty quick. We would definately like to be ministering in a church on these dates. June 1st, the pm service we are available in the South AR / North La area. June 8th we will be available, in the Tulsa, Ok area or North west AR. (am or pm service). Give us a call or email me, if your church would be interested in hosting The Crusader's on one of these dates are another date. Phone number is 870-234-7796 or 870-904-3118 (David's cell).

| THE LORD IS NOT AMERICA'S IDOL The Crusader's are getting ready to head to Monroe, La. this Saturday, after a week-end off. This is a great opportunity for churches in the area to come out on Sat. and enjoy some great Southern Gospel Music. New Liberty Quartet are hosting their Camp Meeting at Swartz Baptist Church at 2:00 pm, afternoon concert, follow by a hamburger meal, fund raiser, and then beginning at 6:00 pm an evening concert. Not only will NLQ and The Crusader's be performing you will have an opportunity to hear Heaven's Echoes, The Riders and The Walley's. This will give you a chance to hear three of the groups together that will be performing on The Carnival Cruise in Jan 2009. We hope you and your church will get a senior adult group together and join us. Email me for packet. The Crusader's will then lead worship on Sun morning at The Light House Church in Monroe at 10:45 and return to Homer, La on Sun. night at 6:00 pm to the Hope Worship Center. Please join us in prayer for all four services. My family watches the American Idol every week. I must admit I do enjoy seeing these amateur singers develop into stars before my eyes each week. I have really been studying that name for the TV show. I thought, that is exactly what it wrong with the world. America has put people, as their idols. The Bible warns against idols. America does admire singers more than they do the Lord, in many instances. If people, the millions that watch and vote each week, were focus on the Lord as a whole-what things we could do for the Lord's Kingdom. Very few churches can say they get their membership to faithful attend each week- much less hundreds, or millions. What IS wrong America?? Where are your priorities? America - In God we Trust. "Let him not deceive himself by trusting what is worthless, for he will get nothing in return." Job 15:31. When the storms come these American Idols will not be there. So, as I finish writing this email, I am facing a storm in my life. I have just came from Shreveport, where the doctor has told my mom she has malignant melanoma. I ask you to pray for her, Ruth Wise, as we go to meet with the cancer doctor tomorrow. It is in God's hands, and was from the beginning, and we acknowledge that. We will praise Him in The Storm. Isn't it good to know that your fate lies in the Hands of the Lord? I would hate to know it was in the hands of any other American Idol. The Lord is my Idol. Do not let any other American take that place in your life.

| A Little Piece of Heaven in TX The week-end couldn't have got any better, last week for The Crusader's. We started early, singing for the banquet at Central Baptist Church in Magnolia on Thursday. It was a special treat to see so many people we know and love. We hope to have a good group from Central come on the Cruise with us in Jan. 2009. We continue to have people join and we are excited about the opportunity to share the week with each of them in worship and praise on the Cruise. The Crusader's left for New London, TX on Fri. around noon. David finally took me to London!! ha.. And in honesty, I don't believe London, England, would be in better than being in Grace Herald Baptist Church in New London, TX. Words can't express the heart-felt love and thoughts we have for this congregation. This was our first visit, and hope there will be many more. I think we found a little piece of Heaven in Texas!! This Church showed the Love of Christ in Hospitality. From the time we walked in, we, all were family. The church was just gracious in ever way, taking care of accommodations for bus hook-up, table full of food plus a refrigerator full also, for snacks, and breakfast. Then food arrive for every meal for the whole week-end. Thank you Grace Hearld for the wonderful meals, and taking care of our every need physically and financially. But, that was just the physical food. Spiritually the supply never ran dry. What an awesome congregation, and loving Pastor. They have Pastor Johnny Wright and his iwfe Sister Darlene, and they are a blessing. But, double blessed this week, we all were, as Dr. Ronnie Yarber brought the message each night. Challenging the church to be The Voice in the Wilderness. Speaking for Christ in a sinful world. One phrase he used: Get it Right, Keep it Right and Be all Right in The End. Simple words, and a challenge to all Christians. Getting and Keeping the Church on the Cutting Edge was the sermon for Sat. Strong points on living for Christ were shared: harboring strong convictions, and Gladly receiving His Word, and then following Him through Baptism. One point in this sermon. Was people can be sincere about their life, and or convictions and be sincerely wrong. This was a good point to ponder. It is a good thing to examine: people think they are ok, and doing good for their family, and they are sincere but they are sincerely wrong about what the Lord and Bible says about family, morals and the church. He, The Lord, has such a greater plan for our lives then we are able to see or comprehend. I see this day after day in my life and The Crusader's. And on Sunday, Dr. Yarber brought the sermon, Will The real Jesus Please stand up? The world wants to find a good guy Jesus, a CPA Jesus, A backslapper, I am proud of you, Jesus, and some want to believe he was a playboy Jesus and sinned. But THE REAL JESUS: the one I serve and died for my sins is way more than that. He is the Perfect Savior without sin. He lived, suffered the Crucifixion, and Arose and He is the King of kings and He is coming back... How would anyone settle for any less than to meet Him? Pray that you will make the impact on the people in your circle of life and beyond. Many are just waiting and hoping someone will ask them to church, tell them you will pray for them. People like to be loved and know they are not forgotten. If you are a Christian and have not shared the best gift you have ever received with the people you come in contact with, then you have failed them. I encourage you, try it once and see God work. Strengthen your prayer life by asking them, if there is something you could be praying with or for them about. I typed out a prayer list this past week for The Crusader's because every day someone calls, emails or we see and they ask for prayer. So, to be faithful to them and my commitments, I put it in front of us. Try it yourself. Put The Crusader's on the list. My first list for the week had 24 prayer needs and that doesn't include a list of the praises. Back to New London, now. We ended Sun with a wonderful afternoon service. Each service has a sweet spirit and God was working in the hearts and souls of those in attendance. But, for me, the closing service was a chart topper...as we ended it in a circle around the pastor and his wife, with prayer for them. Then Grace Herald offer prayers for The Crusader's. What a sweet service of praising God. Did I mention Christy McMurray, this was her church, and now lives in Tyler? She was back visiting for Revival. Wow, what a blessing to hear her sing. She joined The Crusader's on two songs and was such a blessing. If the Lord sent us for only one reason, we all believe it is to encourage her to get out and use her talent more and more each day for The Lord. And if I ever said to you I didn't like Bluegrass- I have changed my mind- or let's say The Lord did. We also got our own private blue-grass concert with Bowles Creek Gospel Blue Grass, while there. They are great musicians and the singers are a father, mother and Little Miss Bailey, who is 11 years old and can hold her own with anyone... God used each one of them to bless our hearts. I wouldn't have miss this time with these great Christian people for anything. Each of The Crusader's came away feeling the same way. Thank you Bro. Jack for sharing The Crusader's Ministy with your church. And Thank you Grace Herald for opening your church, and wrapping your loving arms around our hearts and lives forever. What does this week-end hold? God always knows. Being Mother's Day, there were no bookings that came in, so we will be able to recoup and spend some time at our own home, church and or with our moms. I will spend mine with taking my Mom to have a operation in Shreveport on Fri. and helping mend her back to new over the week-end. I ask you to keep us in your prayers. She fell a year ago and develop a blood clot on her head. It has not healed properly, so they will repair it, then. Upon, pre-op Dr. visit, we find she has alight heart murmur, we will run test for in a few weeks after surgery. Mother's play a big part in family. We, women should try hard to follow the teachings of the Bible. Proverbs 1:8 says, " Listen my son to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teachings." As he used many women in the Bible, he can used mother's today to be a strong Christian witness. Mary the mother of Jesus was a young girl. Luke 2:18-19 " And all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherd's said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart." Have you done any pondering today? What are we teaching our children? What would we call our treasured moments, thoughts, and accomplishments. I hope for each of you they include the plan, The Lord has for you. We have a command from the Bible to be the teacher for our children. Father's, you too, are to lead the family and instruct for a healthy family through following The Lord's direction. Blessings for a life full of God leading you, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| LIVING IN CANAAN LAND The Crusader's met with many, many other quartets, trio, duets, solo's and full bands at The Ar Quartet Convention on Fri and Sat. in Arkadelphia. It is always good to spend a few services with brothers and sisters in Christ who share the same calling and desire to spread the Word through song. There were some there, that have been singing and traveling as we do for over 50 years and then there was the little girl, only four, that could out sing most adults, there. It is a reminder of God using people through all times and all generations for His purpose. Anyone that was there on Sat. and left before 10:00 missed "Church". As the focus changed, and three of the last groups begin to minister to the crowd, with prayer request, testimonies of hard times, valley's, lost of love ones, terminal sickness, regrets of not serving God whole-heartily. And it didn't stop there. Song of "Without Him", as Joe with The Hacketts, gave his testimony of dying on the operating table four times and seeing the river and the tree of life and the brightness of Jesus, before being brought back. The testimony and ministering of Paul, with the Hawkins Family. I can tell you, we had church! As people were moved in the pews and the alter. How tired you are from two late nights, and trying to visit and hear a little of each one of the groups, is soon forgotten, when God takes over, the service and each one is renewed and reminded of His Will not Ours. We seen one young gentlemen, disappointed as His group had not got a chance to sing on Fri. And being late on the program, seeing many leave, was a physical and mental disappointment and stress of physical problems were weighing on him. Then God took over, and He was able to share with us, as he wept, of a sickness, a preparation of letter, for his family if he died and a realization of how much time He had waisted not serving God. He reached many people by just sharing what God was dealing with him about. If you are saved and didn't feel God working, then you are way to far away from God. And if you are lost, it should wake you to want to receive this powerful gift of salvation. THANK YOU PARK HILL BAPTIST CHURCH, ARKADELPHIA For Hosting The Convention and the opportunity to meet many of you.
We were blessed by being in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Hot Springs. Bro. George is always a blessing to hear preach. I think he is one of the best preachers, The Crusader's have had the opportunity to hear. This is a wonderful church full of children, youth and many adults. But most of all, it is full of Jesus and love to worship, sing praises and surely make visitors welcome to the service. I wouldn't be disappointed, when I get to Heaven, for my mansion to be on their street!! They start revival this Fri. - Sun. And I promised them I would ask all my email readers to pray for them. They have the desire and fire to reach Hot Springs. Please join them and The Crusader's in praying for their services and The Crusader's in a Three day Revival at Grace Herald Baptist in New London, TX, this week-end . But, before leaving on Fri., The Crusader's will be at Central Baptist Church in Magnolia for a deacon's/ widow's banquet (I hope I got that right). So, please ask God to give them an extra measure of blessings, rest and opportunity to witness, as they have five services this week-end. Email has already been a source to bond The Crusader's with this church. This will be the first time we have ever been there, but they have been in touch with us through the past year, praying for an encouraging us in The Lord. Please pray for The Crusader's and the old bus. Haven't heard me mention it lately, but last week as we prepared to go a pulley broke, so we traveled in cars. David has the part and is getting it put back together today. The bus allows for close fellowship of our families which you don't have when traveling by car, although fuel is high, it also allows most of us a place to sleep and a comfort of changing, and eating. Staying in Canaan Land - Things you have to Conquer in Canaan Land, lest you fall back. This was what Bro. George shared with us. Anyone that has heard The Crusader's, knows they have always sung Canaan Land. We picked on David at the reunion, and gave him an award for singing it nine hundred thousand times, singing it with ever past and present memeber of The Crusaders. We released him from singing it again, saying He has went way beyond the Call of duty on this song. lol. That lasted to the next singing!! But, reflecting on Canaan Land and hearing this message, It's not such a bad place to be, David. It was a time of coming out of wondering for forty years, and living in the land of milk and honey. We are told in this story: to Cleave unto the Lord your God. He is the one and only God Joshua 23:11"Therefore take careful heed to yourselves, that you love the Lord your God." Renew your commitment. Joshua 23:8 "But you shall hold fast to the Lord, your God, as you have done this day." Be the Leader Christ has equip you to be. Joshua 23:6, "Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do that which is written, in the book of The Law of Moses, lest you turn aside from it to the right hand or to the left hand. Unforgiveness will entrap you keeping the Holy Spirit from working thru you You must continue to stay in fellowship with Jesus Christ and the church Planting seed - in your family Faith is tested in obedience Stay far from temptation Joshua 23:13 "Know for certain that the Lord your God, will no longer drive out these nations from before you. But, they shall be snares and taps to you and scourages on your sides and thorns in your eyes, untilyou perish from this land which the Lord your God has given you." Do not respond with Greed Realize God owns it all don't doubt God Deutoronomy 6:19, Thrusting out all your enemies before you, as the Lord said. There are many battles to overcome in the world. Jesus Christ is the answer for any problem you have. He will not leave you. We are to continue to serve Him, Worhsip Him and Follow Him and strive to stay in Canaan Land. Blessings to you all, The Crusader's Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| GOING ON FAITH GOING ON FAITH : Our week-end started by trusting God to do great things, in uncontrollable situations. Our bass, Jerry, spent most of the day, Friday, at the doctor's office and emergency room, with an esophagus problem. We begin to pray, wait and make plans for our Saturday departure, with or without Jerry. Trusting God that we were in His hands, and He would lead us. As Sat approach, Jerry not knowing rather he could sing, or not, decided he should press on. Going on Faith, Pine Bluff was the destination of the week, and prove to be a place of memories, rejoicing and praise to the Lord. We were in Pine Bluff just a few months ago, and their reception to The Crusader's was just overwhelming. Sat. night proved God was working with The Crusader's and many more, as the service ended with many people renewing their walk with the Lord. On Sun. morning, we were able to lead worship, in a long time friend of ours, Bro. Matt Grantham's church, Pinecrest Baptist. The Crusader's have kept contact with Bro. Matt, through the past 15 years or longer and always enjoy being in the service with him. The church extended one of the best potlucks, with many great desserts. Jonathan has made friends with the lady, who made the apple dumplings, in the hopes, she will send me that recipe. The afternoon, proved to be one of many close moments with each other and the Lord. Arriving at the First Pentecostal Church of God, The Crusader's found themselves, to be at the exact place we had parked the bus, to join Crosspoint for a meal in their families' home, a few months ago. It was a joy to us, for their family to be at the worship service on Sun. Also, Paul, our lead singer, shared, his uncle had help start this church, many years ago. The first service was under a tent on this property. That alone made this service so meaningful and unforgettable. As time, was nearing to start the service, Jerry was drawn to the pastor, by the Holy Spirit, to ask for prayers. The church service begin then, for The Crusader's, as each one of The Crusader's begin to worship and pray for Jerry and the service. The presences of the Almighty God overcame the place, as one Crusader knelt in the pews, One stood in the back with lifted hands to our Savior and the other three begin to sing and play softly, joining them in prayer, as Jerry came before an all knowing God for deliverance from the throat pain. Going on Faith, each week-end, as we meet the trials of sickness, bus problems, fuel expense, earthly problems, we all face daily, and knowing God will meet those needs is more powerful than any problem Satan throws at us. Not only was Jerry suffering from pain, Earl with his many back problems was in severe pain. The Crusader's also joined him, in asking God to touch him. If we can't pray for each other, and lift each other up when our brother has a need, then our walk and our faith, are of little meaning. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. So as The Crusader's packed and get ready to leave Pine Bluff. There is one more opportunity to share Christ. Upon arriving at The Huddle House, a church van from Hattisburg, Ms is spotted, with senior citizens headed to Branson. Being the shy person, Earl is (lol), he approached them and brings much laughter to the table. Before the evening has ended, he is back over there and calling for all The Crusader's to join them. They sit back and enjoy as The Crusader's sing, "Amazing Grace", and share, they were in need of that, since traveling had not allowed them to be in services, this evening. God had richly blessed The Crusader's through each one of the three services, at Pine Bluff, through the working of His Holy Spirit. So, The Crusader's felt moved to share the new CD with them. Many thanks from each of the nine that were given just a piece of The Crusader's Ministry on that night. As The Crusader's started home, a phone call was received from a former member of The Crusader's. The person said that prayers were offered up in their service for one of The Crusader's and a plea for God to answer the Prayer. Going on Faith..God using people to intercede in prayer for our needs. Going on Faith. Where is your faith leading you? John 14: 12. The Lord says, "I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me, will do what I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. Faith is the things hoped for, but not yet seen. I am going on faith daily, how about you? My faith tells me not to worry about tomorrow, He will take care of me....Matthew 6:33-34 says But seek first His kingdom, and His righteousness, and all things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it's own. The Key Phrase is "Seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness. My faith tells me, He is there in the midst of the storms of life...2 Thessalonians 1:5 All this is evidences that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. My faith tells me, He is going to prepare a place for the saved...John 14:2 says, "In my father's House are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. My faith tells me, he will never ever leave me....Deuteronomy 31:8 The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged. My faith tells me, He will direct our paths....Acts 2:28, "You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence. But our faith is hopeless without Jesus Christ....... 1 Corinthians 5:14, And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless, and so is your faith. Where will you find The Crusader's this week-end? Join us at Arkadelphia, AR for The AR State Quartet Convention at Park Hill Baptist Church. April 25Th-26Th : 6:00pm on Fri. and 5:00pm on Sat. We will join together with many of our good friends in the ministry: The Hacketts, Messengers of Song, The Hawkins Family, Heaven's Echoes, Pardoned, New Reason and Hallelujah Quartet, The Advances, The Dickerson's, Don Clark, Voices of Joy, Providence, Heaven's Redeemed and others. This will be a great time of singing and fellowship and worship to our Lord. Please join us if you can make it. Please join us also in prayer for the services will be leading in music at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Hot Springs. And the next week-end, please lift this up as a matter of prayer: We will be in a three day revival in New London, Texas on May 2nd-4th at Grace Herald Baptist Church. We have had this revival booked for almost a year and ask for you to begin praying now. The Lord is opening doors like you can not even imagine for The Crusader's. It has been our hearts desire, to serve when ever and where ever a door was opened. We are seeing our lives and many others changed, souls being saved, people being renewed, and God using the testimony and witness of each one to spread the Word. This is just a reminder to us, that when we truly submit to Him, He wants to work in each of His children's lives. We desire your prayers for The Lord to be glorified, praised and worshiped like never before. Our prayers is: Lord less of me, and More of You. Amen. Going on Faith, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| RUN DOWN MEMORY LANE As I recover from exhaustion, after The Crusader Reunion Week-end, my mind runs down Memory Lane. The Lord really blessed in so many ways, this week-end. I see the Lord working, in many lives, many ways at this concert, in phone calls, emails, and visits since the reunion. I give Him the Praise. We can honestly say it was good to be in the presence of The Lord. Thank you all for your support of the concert and a Ministry we pray will continue for another 20 years and even longer. It was great to be with so many of The Crusader's and their families. I truly wish that all of them could have been there. If you travel as many places, worshiped together, cried together, rejoiced together and shared each moment as we have, you have a bond that Satan might try to destroy, but God's ties or much stronger than that. I love each one of them, and thank the Lord for their witness, their testimony and their faithfulness while serving along side of us in The Crusader's Ministry. We thank Crosspoint Quartet for their surprise visit to the Reunion, their singing and friendship that is not taken for granted. Also Pardoned Ministries was there from Pine Bluff. We love them dearly. Some of us, joined Crosspoint for a concert Sun morning others were at various churches. Jonathan and David joined them on stage for singing praises to the Lord. As Jonathan entered the door of the church, he was greeted by several, who said you have to sing, "Thru the Fire, for us. (Isaiah 43:2 says When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, when you pass through the rivers; they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you a blaze). This church has become an inspiration to The Crusader's. We know that they are praying when we ask them to, emailing, and calling us to encourage us in Jesus' Name. Thank you Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Athens, La. You are a beacon for all churches and your community. I told the pastor, Bro. Greg, when unable to get Crosspoint into our own home church, IBC, that he was the only other choice, God laid on my heart. They have allowed The Crusader's to come in and minister, and we feel like we have known them forever. We, too get a blessing from being in their church. The Crusader's ended the week-end with a service at New Life Church, here in Magnolia, Sun. night. Although tired and worn, they stood and proclaimed the Word of God and the power of His Holy Spirit fell on the service. (Collosians 4:3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains) I also know God is at work there. So, as my mind runs down Memory Lane, many of you come to mind. I thank the Lord for each Crusader and each spouse that was and is an asset to the ministry. I thank each family that sacrifice week-ends, holidays, birthdays, sickness, and death in families to continue on in the ministry. I thank Christan friends that have prayed, given money and attended concert and worship services. I thank churches all across AR, LA, MO, TX, MS, TENN, OK, that have been opened their doors to allow The Crusader's to carry the Word of Christ. But, most of all I thank THE One and Only Lord, for leading us, directing us, caring for us, providing for us, protecting us, and working through us to fulfill His plan for our lives. (1 John 4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him) It has been an honor. It has been the most rewarding thing in our 20 years. Who Am I and What Earthly Reason, would God chose us,(all the Crusader's), to carry the Word. We have seen people saved, people contemplate suicide and turned to God instead, seen people prayed for and be healed, the songs and Cd's touch and change lives. Our rewards are not here, but are laid up in Heaven. Memories are only: The things we do today, that we will be remembered tomorrow and some forever. What memories are you making for Christ? Are you serving God today? Not yesterday, not even tomorrow, because it will take care of itself. But, will you serve Him today? As, I struggle to understand, why people, don't serve God daily, I am reminded that, We are the reason, He died on the cross. We were created in His image, and to fulfill His purpose. If you have wavered from that Service, Run down Memory Lane to Jesus. He wants you to begin today, a new life with Him, a new revelation to pick up where you left off. People will try to say your past, or maybe even a situation you are in now, you should not be in God's service. But, I've got good news, Satan is the only one that reminds you of your past. The Lord wants you just as you are, and He will do the rest. PRAISE BE TO HIS NAME FOR THE WORK HE HAS DONE. (2 Chronicles 30:9 "If you return to the Lord, then your brothers and your children, will be shown compassion by their captors, and will come back to this land, for the Lord of God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.") We spend this week-end in Pine Bluff, Ar. for a concert on Sat. night at Christian Baptist Church 6pm, and Sunday 10:30 a.m. at Pine Crest Baptist and 6p.m. at First Pentecostal Church. Will the Lord be there. Most definitely. Where two or three gather in His name, there he will be. Remember to pray for the services. Love in Christ, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN Crusader's were really busy in Texarkana area last week-end. The 4 states GMA was such a success. Thank you Rhonda Hendricks and Hendricks Trio and First Baptist Hooks for the opportunity to be a part of such a great service. We have another one of these events with many groups on July 12Th in Texarkana, mark your calenders and try to attend. We led worship at Bloomingburg, TX at Cass Baptist on Sun. a.m. This is a small country church, that from the time we step foot in it reminded us of David's home church. With our reunion concert coming up this week-end, I was reminded of many things, and people close to my heart. The ride out there was just beautiful on the sunny day, the Lord gave us. Prayers are sent up for this church as they search for a pastor. I love the mission work they have been involved in. On Sunday night, we were blessed once again to be serving the Lord, at Glad tidings Assembly of God at Atlanta. We enjoyed not just The Crusader's, but Cheri also joined The Crusader's for a special. Then we also, got to hear Pastor Nuckles and his wife. Thank you churches for a sweet worship services, love offerings, and the wonderful fellowship supper on Sun. night. We busy ourselves this week getting ready for Our Reunion Concert, SATURDAY APRIL 12TH. Come Join us at Union Street Station at Magnolia, AR at 6:30 pm. Doors open at 5:30 Free t-shirt to first 100 people. Free Concert. Love Offering will be taken. This week is full of excitement, anticipation of guest, and joy for the things God has done in each one of these families lives. The concert will have many of the former and present members performing great southern gospel songs, together. This is the first Concert of this kind for The Crusader's. Enjoy seeing slide shows from the past and also scrapbooks of each era of the 20 years. Concessions will be available. On Sunday, we will be singing again at Union Street Station, but it transforms into New Life Church on Sunday's. Hear a full service of The Crusader's on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. As I sat on the pew Sat. night, the song was sung, "I have not forgotten." Many things in my life, I have forgotten. Some are real important and I still can't remember them! Sometimes we forget names, where our keys are, important engagements, where to turn when driving, birthdays and the list goes on and on. A lot of things we just don't recall anymore. But, there are things that will be forever etched in our minds. The most important thing, I hope you will remember is when you asked the Lord to save you. For me, it was on the front porch on my house, as a young girl, sitting in a front porch swing, with my pastor Bro. Bryant, after a Sunday morning service, when I could not get peace, till I got it right with The Lord. This I have not forgotten... (Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven, given to men by which we must be saved.) I also remember My Wedding Day..in March..lots of unsettled weather... this I have not forgotten... I also remember the Birth of my Children..that I and many of you, prayed so hard that we would have first Amber, after eight years of marriage and then Jonathan would follow almost four years later. I have not Forgotten. Being there with Amber and Leading Jonathan to Christ ...I have not forgotten. David being ordained as a deacon...I have not forgotten....David surrendering to Share Christ through Song, at our home...over 20 years ago...I have not forgotten... ( Luke 4:8 Jesus answered, "It is written: "Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only."), and The journey begin for our lives to be entangled with so many Christian friends, in The Crusader's Ministry and the other groups we share the stage with...I have not forgotten. Many success, failures, hurts, valley's, mountaintops, sickness, deaths....I have not Forgotten.. (Psalm 119:152 Look upon my suffering and deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law) Churches across many states ..fond memories of special singing, lives changed, people saved, music sung...I have not forgotten. (1 Corinthians 12:5,"There are different types of service, but the same Lord." ) Through the highest peak and the lowest valley...I have not forgotten what Jesus has done for me and The Crusader's. I have seen Him in all things. As, I look forward to the years to come, if the Lord tares, I pray I can say I have not Forgotten. Jude 1:21 "Keep yourself in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you into eternal life. What have you forgotten? Or what have you not forgotten? Make the things of Christ priority in your life. Don't let your journey stop with just accepting Him as Lord. Serve Him Daily, Share Him, Praise Him and Worship Him and Pray to Him. Please join us Saturday, but if you can't please pray for the concert. I have not forgotten many of you that have impacted my life and The Crusader's Ministry. | DID YOU SEE JESUS THIS WEEK? The Crusader's count it a blessing to be a part of the three services this past week-end. We were guest singers at The Pentecostal Church of Magnolia, where they were the perfect host. What a blessing to worship with our pentecostal friends, some we have known for a long time. This was The Crusader's first opportunity to sing at their church. Our new CD was also, available That Wonderful Day, and their were many happy people to get a new project from The Crusader's. 2 Samuel 22:50 Therefore I will praise you, O Lord amoung the nations, I will sing praises to your name.
As we sung around the piano at our house, about 11:30 pm, a stranger approached our door asking for prayer and gas money. The Crusader's took the opportunity to witness to Justin, and to feed him physically and spirtually. He said he heard the music and was drawn to our front door like a light in a dark cave. Would would Jesus do? I think He showed us many times in the Bible. I praise God for The Crusader men and their desire to reach the lost. So, as I write this email today, Monday, someone knocks at my front door. It's Justin again. He once again comes for help, with a confession He needs help getting off the drug, crack. So, we have stopped, made a call, and he has went to rehab. Pray for Justin. I can't imagine a 32 year old man, so dependent on a drug. I said to David, how many houses are there in Magnolia? God used ours, to be the light in the dark cave. Matthew 25:35 For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in. It's later now and the rehap want take him, because of id issues. So, he seeks out help at the police dept. and they reassure us they will try to help. So, now it is Tuesday, and as I lay in my bed last night and the storms came, my heart breaks for a man, I don't even know. But, it breaks even more, to know, he doesn't know my Savior, Protector and Provider, Healer and Source of all things.
The Crusader's lead worship at The Southern Methodist Church here in Magnolia, Sunday morning. It was a great service, worshipping along side some of our best friends. Psalm 100:2 Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. God's love was felt by all as The Crusader's sang many songs. A new song, that touched me was, "O Rock of Ages, Hide Thou in Me" It says, Sometimes I get discouraged...and I think my work is in vain..I'm tempted then to murmur..and often to complain...But when I think of Jesus..and what He has done for me...Then I cry Rock of Ages ...hide thou in me... Isn't that powerful, christians do not be discourage, just one cry to Jesus and He is there... We have no reason to be discouraged when we put our eyes on Jesus. Men will disappoint you, but the Lord will never. Exodus 33:21 Then the Lord says, There is a place near me, where you may stand on the rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. A very big special blessings was having Pardoned Ministries join us for the service and the church fellowship. We are excited to share with you, our dear friend, Lisa Ortigo, from Magnolia, is going to sing full time with Pardoned Ministries. They sung, Beulah Land, in the service and a few songs after lunch. Lisa will have a single released nation-wide in a few months and they leave for a three week tour to Tenn. this Thursday. As you remember to pray for The Crusader's, please lift them up in prayer also. Lisa we are so proud of you and thank the Lord and Gina and Lee for allowing this opportunity to minister in music. On to Sunday night, The Crusader's sung at Parkview Baptist Eldorado. The church was full of good Christian people and we enjoyed the service, and Huge fellowship they had afterwards. I told some of the women, they had enough food to feed all of Eldorado!! We look forward to seeing these Parkview members and their friends, at upcoming events, and maybe even the cruise in Jan. 2009.3 John 1:8 We ought therefore show hospitality to such men so that we may work together for the truth.
Upon heading home last night, to Hot Springs, Paul had a wreck. He said as he hydroplaned, He begin to think this was it, and He expected the car to flip. It came to a stop, the person following him, came to his aid. Upon talking to Paul and seeing he was o.k., the man told Paul he and his wife began to pray for him as the car swerved. He also was a preacher from Hot Springs, who had been preaching in Eldorado. I thought this was a divine appointment, a preacher from Hot Springs singing in Eldorado coming to the aid of a singer from Hot Springs singing in Eldorado. Psalm 5:11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing of joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
Did you see Jesus this week? My answer is absolutely, in many things... blessings on a new CD project -Holy Spirit presence in the service -feed the homeless -doors open to serve-dedication to serve-witnessing opportunities-prayers to Our Father-offerings given to further this ministry- protection in a wreck and the list goes on and on. Make your own list today..Recognize God for the mighty provider He is.
See The Crusader's this week-end Sat. 6pm at Hooks First Baptist Church, Hooks, TX Sunday 10:30 a.m. Cass Baptist Church, Bloomburg,TX Sunday 6:00 p.m. at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Atlanta, TX NEXT WEEK-END THE CRUSADER REUNION CONCERT APRIL 12TH..MAGNOLIA, AR Many of the former and all present members will come together to worship and share in this concert in song and testimony. Let's show up and see what The Lord has in store for us.
I can't apologize for the length of the email. God is doing so much and I just want to prasie Him and share Him with you, Blessings, Penney Talley wife of a crusader

| THE LIGHTHOUSE If our lives are to be like a lifeboat and Jesus is the Lighthouse, where are we docking our boat each day? The lighthouse can be seen for miles away. In the dark, it is a welcomed sign to guide us home. The waters may be rough, the rains may fall, and the river of life, may give new twist and turns. When we keep our eyes on The Lighthouse, we make it safely.(Psalm 107:29-30 He stilled the storm to a whisper: the waves of sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm. and He guided them to their desire haven. The Lighthouse stands straight, tall and without wavering. The boats may move away, from The Lighthouse, but the Lighthouse never moves. We have the decision in our life, as the captain of the boat, which way we will go. The farther away we go, the dimmer The Lighthouse becomes. If you see a boat in distress, broken down, sinking (Psalm 69:14 Rescue me from the mire, do not let me sink, deliver me from those who hate me, from the deep waters.) or taking a wrong turn, throw out the anchor,( Acts 27:29 Fearing that we would be dashed against the rocks, they dropped four anchors ) the rope, and guide (Psalm 78:53 says He guided them safely, so they were unafraid, but the sea, engulfed their enemies), them back to The Lighthouse. There is no better place to be, than docked near The Lighthouse. check out www.wrensworld.com/swtplighthouse.htm The Lighthouse Song will also be on our new CD. It's Friday already. I usually spend time at the first of the week, preparing the news letter. But, the week has flown by. We have spent the first part of the week practicing with former members of The Crusader's, for The Celebration Reunion Concert on April 12Th, and sending new letters by regular mail. The Crusader's will be singing in Magnolia on this Saturday, Mar 29Th, at the Magnolia Pentecostal Church (hwy 79) at 5:30 pm and at the Southern Methodist Church (East North Street) at 10:30 a.m, Sunday, Mar. 30Th. We will travel to El Dorado, on Sunday night to lead worship at Parkview Baptist Church at 6 pm. We are excited about the opportunity to be at each of the service this week-end. We hope to see our friends and families since we are in this area. It is always a special treat to get to sing and share what the Lord has done and is doing, with familiar faces, at the same time meeting new ones. God has opened some more doors for The Crusader's in the past few days. We are excited to share with you, what he is doing and where and how we will be serving. Our new CD has been released , "That Wonderful Day", title song was written by Paul Stubbs, our lead. We hope to have them available Saturday. You will want to get one. This makes our ninth recording. The reunion concert is in a few weeks. Join us for the Celebration, Saturday, April 12Th at Union Street Station, Magnolia at 6:30 pm for a great Southern Gospel Night for Music from many of your favorite Singers and Band Members. This is so exciting to once again see former members, to spend time singing, sharing, praying and encouraging each other in our Lord and Savior. Time gets away, and it is great to rekindle those friendships, we once spent so many hours traveling and serving God with. You already know about the Deep South Regional Quartet Convention to be held Nov 7Th and 8Th at Immanuel Baptist Church. So let me spend a second telling you about the newest opportunity that has opened up for The Crusader's. | I HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE The Crusader's Quartet and New Liberty Quartet from Monroe, LA had a full week-end in Oklahoma. After an eight hour drive, they arrived in Stillwater, OK on Saturday to be greeted by a host of people. The way, both churches took care of these groups, is amazing and well appreciated. After hearing TCQ AND NLQ talk about the week-end for hours, and days after. I would rate this type hospitality, love for the Lord, and love for His Servants as a class 5 star award for His Service. I want to brag on these church people for a little bit, because many of you host groups in your church and might would love some of these pointers. I truly believe they will be rewarded for their Service. The groups were definitely taken care of financially, through love offerings and great tapes sales. Upon arriving at the church the groups were fed a wonderful meal. A double-wide trailer was provided for the guys to sleep in. I understand it was to be emptied after they left. But, they had set up enough beds with linens for all of them, loaded it down with food and drink, and even mints on the bed. The assistance and help at the churches was just astounding. On Sunday morning a big breakfast was prepared for all the guys and the church joined them, for a time of morning fellowship before worship. But, better yet, was the amazing service of these two groups, worshiping with these churches and the power of the Lord in the lives of those involved. Mr. Ken, words can't express the blessings we pray for you and the people of Stillwater at the churches. We are already planning to be back with them again in the months ahead. So, as a church, always be aware of your guest, and don't miss an opportunity to be the Blessing to them. As the group, we too, not only come to share the Word, we find that in the end, we are the ones that receive the Blessing. So, if you ever wonder why we go week-end after week-end, year after year, to sing His Praises, I can clear that up. My mom always said we beat to a different drum rhythm, than most!! I bet you agree with that.. It is the least we can do for what God has done for us. He never stopped sharing. He never sat down and said these people in the next town, don't need to hear the Word or they don't need to be ministered to. Matthew 9:35 says Jesus went through ALL the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom The Bible says that if we come expecting then, He is faithful to honor those desires. A praise goes out to the Lord for the man who with tears in his eyes, came forward after the service Sun. morning, and shared God had healed him. He was scheduled for shoulder surgery and we pray the healing allowed him not to have to go forward with the surgery. Psalm 37:14 say You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among your peoples. Anyway I heard all of this "Though the grapevine". I didn't go, but was definitely here praying for them and waiting anxiously to hear from them. Be careful what grapevine you receive news from. Many grapes are sour and the vines are used to in twine around you and choke the breath out of you. The Lord says he is our vine. John 15:5 I am the vine you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in Him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. For all you Magnolia area people, that have been asking, "When are The Crusader's going to be close?" Mark your calenders. We will be at the Magnolia Pentecostal Church on March 29Th 5:30 pm and Southern Methodist Church on March 30Th at 10:30 am. Also, in Eldorado that night at Parkview Baptist Church at 6:00. So, here is your chance to come out and worship with us. Check out Grandma and little red riding hood picture on www.myspace.com/thecrusadersquartet. Sorry David and Paul, just had to post it!!! See our full schedule at www.thecrusadersquartet.com Bookings email or give us a call. Love you all, and may you have a blessed Easter and remember our Lord and Savior and He is Alive and living within us.

| WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE The Crusader's had a nice service at Ashdown Sunday night at First United Methodist Church. A lovely church with some of the nicest people I have met. Thank you church for a time of true worship with you, a love offering and a nice fellowship. The pastor, Bro. Jim Cross, knew many of the pastors in this area, who we have worshiped in their churches in the past months. Isn't great to be a part of a big Family of God? It is to me, to go somewhere and say hey that's my brother or sister in Christ! The service was sweetened by one of the last songs as The Crusader's sanged, "What a Day that will Be." I thought oh, what a day that will be...when He takes me by the hand and leads me through the promise land. Can you imagine for a moment being lead through Heaven? Well, I love to travel and I stand in awe everywhere we go at God's handiwork. I look at the ocean, I look at the beach, the mountains, the snow, the lakes, the sunsets, the rainbow, the many beautiful things God creates. My mother-in-law said one time, "MY, MY, MY" at the beauty of His Creation. So, as the song ministered to me, I thought what a Tour that will be. To tour Heaven with the Best Tour Guide of all. I can't even imagine the beauty we will see, the place He has prepared for us. John 14:2 In my Father's House or many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. All Inclusive!! We will have no needs, God will provide it all. Because He is all We need. But, as I write, I am reminded of there will be two tours on that day we die. Two tour lines, the only catch is you have to sign up now. Then is too late. Don't be too busy on earth to sign up for the Tour of a Life time. Because those who don't will spend eternity on a tour of Hell, where there will be know happiness, no reward, no pleasure, no relief, only torment. Luke 16:23 says In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and say Apraham, far away with Lazarus by his side. Ask God now to be your Savior and the tour begins now, as He directs you in His Spirit to accomplish the things here on earth He has created you to do. Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do His good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. The Crusader's leave before daylight on Saturday morning for Stillwater, OK. They will be joining New Liberty Quartet from Monroe, LA for a week-end run together. Pray for the survival of that old bus!! Ten men of God working together to bring the Word of Christ. I am sure this will be a week-end to remember. So pray for them as they go out to deliver the Word in OK on Saturday and Sunday. You know Satan doesn't want our obedience, so I ask you to lift them up in prayer for safety, unity, and above all worship to The Lord. I also ask that you pray for someone to be saved in OK or someone hurting, or needing a touch from The Master's Hand will be present in the services to receive what the Lord has for them this day. May God shower His Blessings on you, as you read this email. Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| WHAT KIND OF BOOK ARE YOU? Wished everyone of you could have been with us this week-end!! We had a great time in the Lord. I can't think of anywhere I would have rather been Sat. night, then in that service. The Crusader's sang with Pardoned, Hawkins Family, Advancers and The Central Baptist Men's Quartet. God used each one of these groups to minister to and through. If the Lord had come back right now it would have been great. but then I am reminded of Philippians 1:23-26., being torn between being with Jesus and remaining here sharing Christ. God's love and mercy were shared through many trials and songs. We joined Central Baptist for a service Sun. morning to hear their quartet and our good friends, Crosspoint. Crosspoint just released their new c.d., which you will want to get. Hear clips at www.myspace.com/crosspointquartet. We enjoyed it many times yesterday. Those guys have Harmony!! DSRQC would not be the same without them. The Crusader's joined them for Damon singing Daystar. Powerful anointing song. Lord take what's wrong and make it right. Is that not a prayer for each one of us, each day? They closed the service with I am rich. One of my favorites and it is on their new c.d.!! Their uncle and aunt graciously fed us all for lunch. What a blessing to spend time in the home with them and their family. We left early afternoon for South Pine Wood Baptist Church. Upon arriving and setting up, we were told Bro. Richard, music director had a family emergency and would be running late for service. He and his wife also sing with 2 by 2, who also sang. I knew upon that information and the pastor being at a prison ministry service, God had put us right smack in the middle of His Will, again. We all begin to pray for the services, once again and ask God to do a work on every pew. This service was filled with many tears as God used testimonies, prayers of his people, to lift up others going through Storms in their lives, songs such as I must Tell Jesus and He's in the Midst of the storm. Psalm 102:7 is a promise that God will respond to the destitute. We are trusting God to answer many prayers that went up that night, some publicly and some privately as God pricked our hearts to walk closer to Him. David said God has given him a boldness, that he has never had before. Acts.4:28-30 tell us that Peter and John did what the Lord had decided before it happen. And the Lord enabled them to speak words with boldness. A big thank you goes out to the church for a chance to share Christ with them, a love offering, and a great fellowship meal. Two prayer request from the week-end. One man, Brandon, who needs to turn his life around and give it to God. Another a man named Darrell, who gave his heart to the Lord on Sun. morning in Pardon's service and went back into prison last night to finish his time. These are two men, The Crusader's have never met, but His people put out a plea to us to pray. What kind of book are you? I sat in the pew Sat. afternoon and looked at the different hymn books and the Bible. Are you hard cover or soft cover? Hard cover, is like Jesus. It wil last forever, and protects the rest of the book. Psalm 5:11 says but let all who take refuge in you be glad. Soft cover, is scarred by the world, easier. Although it was created to do a job it is easily subjected to the inflictions of a cruel world. Matthews 26:41, the spirit is willing but the body is weak. What is the story on the pages? Pages of a well read book or usually tattered and torn. Pages represent many issues we face in life. Some pages are never touched and disfigured. But, some seem to take a pounding, they have been spit upon, torn, wrote upon. Hebrew 6:19, "we have this hope for an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Written on the pages only you can write the book. What do you want Christ to do in your life?, your family to remember?, the world to know? You may be the only Bible some people read. Be a solid, good example for Christ. We have to start each day with a blank page and say here Lord, this is your day, write my story, use me in Your novel today. 1 Corinthians 15:49 we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven. The Crusader's will be in services at 1st United Methodist Church at Ashdown Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. Remember us in your prayers. God Bless you and keep you in His Will, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| Who shall you serve Today? The Crusader's were off this past week-end, and in their home churches for Sunday. I can't speak for the rest of them. But, The Talley's were just, wondering around the house on Saturday, not knowing what to do since we were not out the door to a church or event. So, we spent many hours this past week-end getting ready for The Crusader's 20Th year Reunion. Mark you calenders right now, and don't let anything get into the way of you joining us for a wonderful Concert, April 12Th. Many of you are, as we are, very excited to see faces from the past 20 years. God has blessed each one of these families in so many ways. It's exciting to get back in touch with the ones, and see how many are still serving God in a mighty and powerful way. We have two former members of The Crusader's that are preacher's, now. We also have six that now lead worship in their home churches, and so many others that are working in different areas of their church. It is great to serve God. Deuteronomy 6:13 I encourage you to find your place of service in the Lord. True Happiness comes from knowing God and doing His will. Everyone is not called to preach, sing, or teach. But, I do believe everyone is called to Serve and He made us in his likeness. The Bible shows us that Jesus, didn't sit idol, waiting for Sunday to roll around to hear a sermon. Mark 6:7 says then Jesus went around teaching from village to village. His Life was a Sermon. Don't you want to be like Jesus? We are just planting seed, plowing the fields, and He will gather the Harvest. I'm not much into farming or gardens. But, I love this Garden of God. 1 Corinthians 3:5-7, seven says, So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. I believe this is the year of planting, watering and God is going to deliver the harvest. The Crusader's will be busy, which means I need you to be busy praying for us. Please remember us, as you start your prayer time, daily. We are booked 54 times for this year, already. And we are expecting God to do great things. But, we are not unaware of the fact the devil, doesn't like it and is on the prowl. So please pray for our protection in all areas of our lives. We will be in Pine Bluff Saturday night and Sunday p.m., also. Looking forward to both services. We have the honor to share the stage Saturday night at the Assembly of God in Pine Bluff with Pardoned and Hawkins Family on Saturday. We hope to be in church service with Crosspoint Quartet, unless God moves in a different direction and then at South Pine Wood Baptist Church on Sunday night. This is our first opportunity to minister in song at these churches. Please take it on as your mission to pray for at least one of these services, if not all. Blessings to all of you, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader www.thecrusadersquartet for schedule and bookings www.myspace.com/thecrusadersquartet

| forgiven heart Today has been a wet, cold dreary day. But, it is no reflection on our services, this past, Sunday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Athens, LA. The Crusader's went down Saturday and enjoyed the evening together. A little practice, a little fellowship and a great meal together prepared us for a full day in Athens. It was so good to have Annette, back with us after her heart surgery, a few weeks, ago. The Crusader's led worship Sunday morning and Bro. Greg preached on An Unforgiving heart. Matt 18:21-35 It was a good sermon for the week of Valentines. Who Am I...and who are you...not to forgive, forget, accept forgiveness. If God can forgive us for our sin, then we should be willing and ready to forgive those who hurt us. James 3:11 was just one scripture shared, "You can't draw fresh water from a salty pool. " We must cleanse our heart of unforgiving sin, grudges and hurt, to have a spring of fresh water flowing from us. Forgiveness is important for fellowship with The Lord. Matthew 11:25. Thank you Bro. Greg for a message well delivered and received. The church so graciously prepared two meals for us on Sunday. The Crusader's were scattered enjoying our own interest, for some it was a day of relaxation, some shopped and some went to the ranch and rode horses. It was a good change, to be at the same church for both services on Sunday. God always knows what we need. Usually, we are in a mad dash to get to the next service. We all returned for an evening concert where we worshipped the Lord. The testimony and singing was powerful. The concert ended with the church requesting Jonathan singing, Thru the Fire, once again. The Crusader's enjoyed Bro. Greg's wife, Mary Lea joining them on this song. What a fun time of worship. This church is just like being at home, maybe even better! The Crusader's love them and hold dear each moment we spend with them. The Crusader's have this week-end off. We just looked at each others with a lost look...like what will we do..Each one us would rathering be singing and serving then off for the week-end. Mark your Calanders for THE CRUSADER REUNION CONCERT APRIL 12TH. We have heard from most of the former and present members. This will be a great concert, you won't want to miss. It will be at Union Street Station, Magnolia, AR. 6:30 p.m. Happy Valentines, Give the Lord your Heart and you will never be disappointed in what He does for you and He gives you!!, Love in Christ, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| SEEK HIS TREASURE Blessings are sent your way from The Crusader's. The Crusader's led worship in two services yesterday. As one of the guys said on the bus, heading home, last night, "I can't wait to get to work and share what the Lord done today in the services with those I work with who don't know the Lord". Please pray for His boldness and each of ours. We started our day at Milwood Baptist Church in Ashdown, TX. We were met at the church with information that the pastor, was sick, and unable to be there today. Don't you just know that God sent The Crusader's for that reason. I do. That is how He chooses to use, them sometimes. What a great service and the spirit of the Lord was all over that church. Once again, we felt the heavy presence of the Lord working in many lives. I rejoiced and thank the Lord for His mighty power, as many teenagers and adults young and old, gathered in the alter to do business with God. David pleaded with the church to guard the sweet, sweet spirit, with much prayer. Satan doesn't like to see, a church responsive to His Word. We met later in the day with Old Salem Baptist Church in New Boston, Tx. A special blessing was meeting a dear lady, Mrs. Millie, who has us booked for our church in the fall. So, glad she joined us at this church. I have enjoyed corresponding with her by email. The church people and pastor were a joy to meet and many thanks for a nice fellowship meal after-wards. God put a nice couple visiting there, from West Virginia in the service. We ask your prayers on The Crusader's, as they work on putting us in contact with a campground in West Virginia for a singing, they enjoy attending. May God's will always be done through This Ministry. I suppose this was a big week-end for many with super bowl football and mardigra. We, The Talley's, found ourselves in Mardigra traffic on Saturday night, in Shreveport, LA. As I watched couples, and families stroll back to their cars, with their treasures of beads, cups and unusual hats. My heart was sadden for them. I realized many do not acknowledge that there is a far more greater treasure to seek after. Revelations 21:18-21 tells us that heaven is made for us, streets of gold, walls of jasper, and gates of pearl. The cup God provides will overflow Psalm 23:5 and I, too, will have an unusual hat, as I lay it at the feet of God, a crown. Revelations 4:10. We look forward so much to this coming week-end. The Crusader's will be back in Athens, La. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church for Sunday morning and Sunday night, February 10th. This is the small church, we were at in the fall, we seen 9 saved in one day. I, understand, through visiting with them, they have began, again, their cottage prayer meetings. I urge each one of you to start a prayer meeting, anywhere, with God. You and God can do great things together. Jeremiah 10:23, "I know, O Lord, that a man's life is not his own, it is not for man to direct his steps." Please pray for The Crusader's this week. God Bless you all, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| I'm on the Winning Side Today finds us physically tired but emotionally high. The Crusader's left Magnolia to head for 1st Baptist Church, Lockesburg Sunday morning at 6:00 a.m. for a morning service. God did a work on us all and pricked each one of our hearts as the alter began to fill as people were seeking God. The moment that stands out, was a young man with an infant, kneeling in prayer in the alter. I am a softy for people in the alter. God opens our eyes, and makes our heart sensitive to pray for these people. Lunch with pastor and his wife was enjoyed. We ended the day with a concert at First Baptist Church, Foreman, AR. The Crusader's and Amber enjoyed singing a couple of songs, to the Awana Children. God uses children to draw us closer to the Lord. They weren't ashamed to worship and get excited. But, most of all, the little girl that prayed the Big Prayer, to our Mighty Lord, Healer and Protector. Psalms 17:6 A big surprise for us, was to see our Christian Brother and Sister and Family, Shawn and Tracy Hicks and Family. This is Tracy's home church. Shawn worked for us, The Talley's, before surrendering in the ministry. It was great to hear the report on their cowboy church. He asked for the prayers of all. It is great to see how God continue to work in their life and how God has grown them so much in the Lord. It doesn't matter where we see them, church camp, churches Bro, Shawn has pastored or surprises like last night. We always come away, saying God is Good and we are thankful They continue to Serve. The service was awesome and the alter was full of people doing business with God. As the service closed the pastor had us to each find someone to hug and tell them, we loved them. That wasn't hard. Sitting beside me was my beautiful daughter and Cheri, Earl's wife, who is such an inspiration. Along with a hug from The Hicks. So after 17 hours on the road, Sunday, The Crusader's rolled back into Magnolia, feeling Blessed Again to be called out to such wonderful churches and to serve an Awesome God. We will be at Milwood Baptist Church on this, Sunday morning, Feb.3rd and Sunday night at Old Salem Baptist Church in New Boston, Tx. at 5:00 p.m. Yes we know it's SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. And I have learned to love football, the last few years, with a daughter and son playing at ballgames, and Amber's boyfriend, Scott, being a football player for our high school team. 1 Corinthians 9:24-26 tells me, that these games, compete to get a crown that will not last, But we run the race for a crown that will last forever. Please pray for these two services, this week. We, as Christians can look at each Sunday as A Super Sunday. When we put the same preparations into Super Sunday at church, there will be a difference in our lives. Starting with 1. Wouldn't miss it for anything. 2. Want to be early, as to not miss anything. 3. Want to sit up close, not to miss a thing. 4. Want to invite others to attend with us. 5. Want our friends, to be on the same team. When we start rooting for Jesus Christ, the world will then know what team we are on. I'M ON THE WINNING SIDE. I hope you are, too. If you can't say that, you can join that team. Jesus Christ wants each one of us to be his team-mate, by accepting Him as your personal Savior. Acts 4:12 God Bless you all and Have a Super Day, Every Day Serving God, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader NEWSBREAK: CRUSADER REUNION CONCERT HAS BEEN SET FOR APRIL 12TH AT UNION STREET STATION IN MAGNOLIA, AR. | ENLARGE YOUR TENT Good Morning, God has given us another day to live. What will we do with it? We are one day closer? Make it count today. The Crusader's were busy all last week, with recording the new project and three singings on the week-end. We started our week-end at Red Lick Baptist Church where a host of people, men and women were waiting for us, as we arrived. What a great way to start a Saturday evening. This church was full of many loving people. We enjoyed the sweet fellowship before and especially after the service. God began to move in the service and each of us took a good look at our lives, trials and experiences as Earl, our tenor, shared the many things he had been faced with in the last couple of years. Unknowing to him, there was a gentlemen going through many of the same things. Earl, didn't know, but God did. As Earl shared, the man got mad, because he felt someone had told Earl. He left the church and drove to a near store. He turned around after a few minutes, with the intentions of coming back into the church and sitting in the fellowship hall. But, you see God had another plan. As he returned to the church, The Crusader's unaware of any of this, continue to sing praises, share testimony and were ending the service with an alter call. As the man, approach the church, the invitation began. God drawed him right to the alter. PRAISE GOD. His sincere re-dedication, will be a testimony of his faith and I know will impact his sweet family. God knows each one of our needs. He will meet them, when we faithfully seek him. 1 Chronicles 28:9. After a great fellowship meal and much talking. We look forward to being back there this summer for an event they are planning. Some of us, met our good friends, The Hawkins Family, from Hot Springs for a late snack. It is so good to run into Christian friends on the road, that are out ministering too. As The Crusader's celebrate 20 years in ministry in 2008, The Hawkins family celebrate 50 years. They have always been an encouragement to The Crusader's, allowing us back in the beginning to be a part of their singings. So, when I wrote you last week, we only had one singing for Sunday. God open a door and What a great service, we had leading worship at Queen City Assembly of God. Beautiful church, with God's beautiful people worshiping the God Almighty. It doesn't get any better than that, any day. We left for an afternoon concert at Eylau Hills Baptist Church. Please pray for the pastor, he was there, not feeling well at all. Small churches sometime thing they are unworthy of asking a group come in to sing to them. But, I can tell you God is with them, and the pastor has such a heart of hospitality. God loves all his people and He wants us to do the same. We enjoyed them, small in number but big in spirit. Isahiah 55:11 tells me His Word ALWAYS produces fruit. A look to the week-end. We will be at First Baptist Church Locksburg on Sunday morning and Sunday night at First Baptist Church Foreman. The pastor Sunday morning shared this scripture: Isaiah 54:2. Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtain wide, lengthen your cord, strengthen your stakes. Oh, Lord I pray, Enlarge my tent Lord, Show me where and how you want me to stretch the curtain. Who am I reaching out to Lord? Lengthen my cord that I shall meet the need and strengthen my stakes, that are grounded in you, Lord. Can you pray that prayer? Or does it scare you? God can take that fear from you. Have a blessed day, and please remember to pray for The Crusader's as they do His Will. Love in Christ, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader www.thecrusadersquartet.com for bookings and schedule.

| 24 HOURS IN A DAY The Crusader's week is full of many commitments. I can hardly contain myself. And you will be glad to know, because so many of you have asked, "When a new CD?" The Crusader's have began a new project. We are excited and are working hard in the studio and selecting your favorite songs. Please pray for the anointing of this project. 2005 was the last project. So, it was definitely time for a new one. Should be available in a few weeks!! This will make The Crusader's ninth project. I rejoice every time I reminisce about how God has used, each project. They have ministered from church to church. This has been quite a journey we have been on for twenty years. God deserves our obedience, our service, our worship and our time. 1 Peter 4:10-11 Look for The Crusader's this Saturday, January 19th at Red Lick Baptist Church in Red Lick, TX (Texarkana area) at 6:00 p.m. Also on Sunday afternoon, January 20th at Eylau Baptist Church, Texarkana, TX at 3:00 p.m.. Drive over after church and enjoy a great afternoon of Southern Gospel Music. We all know there are 24 hours in a day. How do we spend those hours each day? Have you ever taken the time to make a graft of your time. Many of you make a budget for your money. You want to know where that check goes and you appropriate so much for savings, living expense, vacation, entertainment, etc. I challenge you to do the same for your day. We all have to allow time for sleep and rest, and unfortunately work. But, that leaves around 8 hours a day for family time, God's time, and household duties and other personal activities. Wow, when you look at it that way. No wonder we are so strapped for time. It is so easy to clutter our lives with things of no importance to our life. We need to look at how we spend the family time. Is it worth-while? Does it make an eternal difference in our lives and our families lives. God's time: Are we praying enough, studying our Bible enough, Serving Him enough, Listening for a word from Him, Listen to His Praises and Singing His Praise enough? Household duties and Personal activities: I would guess these consume most of the eight hours, we have left in a day. In the end it want be if my last load of clothes was clean, or if I had a clean new car. I don't believe we will receive, Well Done from The Lord, for all the possessions we own, the movies and TV we watched, the house we cleaned, the car we drove. But, we can put what God has given us back to use for Him. If He has blessed us, share that with others. Let's take a good look at what changes need to be made in our daily lives. Make more time for God, and you will find that you have more in life. 1 Peter 4:3. 24 Hours a Day 8 Hours: Sleep 8 Hours: Work 8 Hours: God's Time, Family time, Household Duties, Personal Interest, You do the math. You are the only one that can make changes for your life, that will make a difference in your daily walk with the Lord. Love in Christ to All, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| What if, leads to why Not?? This has been a shouting, crying and hand clapping good week-end, with the Lord. Three wonderful services, with God showing His amazing power all over each service. It begin on Friday night at Jack Daniel's Camp Meeting with a few hundred people gather for an old time tent meeting. This is the second time, The Crusader's have sung in, in twenty years, in a tent meeting. It was just as powerful as the first, in Arkadelphia, AR, years ago. Something about worshiping God, with just basic walls, dirt floor and the power of the wind, making itself known and brothers and sisters in Christ, that you know Love the Lord. There are so many reasons this service was special and will always be a favorite. But, the first and foremost is God showed up and three adult men were Saved. All the other is just cake, but that is the Frosting!! There was very good singing by all, from The Crusader's, Denim Blue, Brian, music minister at Cornerstone at Dallas, David Daniel and Mark Lener (who is solo now, but use to sing with Perfect Heart). As the preacher, who lead Bro. Jack Daniels, to the Lord, shared through Jonathan's song and Mark Lener's, God had changed his message, as he sat in that dim lit camp tent. As the preaching begin I thought I'm not sure I want to hear this message. I wonder what God was preparing me for..But, whatever it was I decided I wanted to once again be prepared, God's way. The sermon was on "Why Christian People have to Suffer." He shared about the family who lost their children in a bus accident where the Guadeloupe River swept the youth group off into the river. He also shared about finding his daughter dead with an aneurysm, in her bed, and how he preached the day after. Now, you understand why I, as a mother, thought I 'm not ready for these storms. I begin to pray a hedge of angels around my children and pray for strength and direction for the storms of my life for 2008. He shared we will all go thru some type of storm this year. We go through these storms for these reasons, to test us, turn us, teach us, tender us, as a testimony. What a great service. Job 14:1 (if you want more on this sermon, there are alot of scriptures, email me and I will send it to you.). We arrived back home around 1:30 a.m. and left back on the road around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rose Hill Baptist Church at De queen, AR has had a special place in our hearts for years. Our first contact, was around 1990, where The Crusader's were schedule for a morning service. Due to an old bus, a lot of rain, and a fuel line problem, some men come looking for us and found us stranded on the side of the road, just outside of DeQueen in 1990 (no cell phones, then!). We enjoyed reminiscing with Bro. Ken, who came to our aid, back then and the servie went on that morning, just little later than planned. This time we made it to the church, before the bus needed to be jumped off!! We have sung several times through the years at Rose Hill and always feel welcome and the Spirit of God was working. AMEN!! It was our first time to hear Bro. Moody preach. He brought a powerful message from God. Acts 4:31-33 WHAT IF this is the year....of repentance, renewal for Christians, to be restored, to refocus, of rejoicing, of posiibilities, of revival for the church, of resposibility, and of reaching out. And IF WHAT IF, THEN WHY NOT. The only reason this can't be the year is, if we choose not to make these changes in our lives. WHY NOT...there is no reason, for this not to be the year to be obedient to God. After a wonderful renewing of many in the church and a good meal. We said our good-byes, for now, and headed for Idabel, Oklahoma. We were welcomed to Central Baptist with refreshments before the service and a birthday cake for Doyle White, our bass singer. Happy Birthday Doyle.. Who would have ever thought God would send The Crusader's to a church, we had never heard of until the last few months, to minister to a church who just recently lost their pastor and on Friday their Sunday School Superintendant passed away. Well, God knew and He knew it would be a divine appointment. Into the service, David stopped the music, and shared how God had compeled him to use the service for an alter call for prayer for the church, and the family. As the alter filled with the young and the older people, who had to be helped to their feet, after prayers. The church was full of heartfelt prayers, and tears on ever pew. So, as I write this email, I stop now and pray once again for this church, who is having the funeral, right now, for a very dear brother, who we never got to meet, but impacted that church family and their heart was broken for their loss. We were touched by the grandson, who I hear also sings and has a wonderful voice, that was in the service. I pray for God's mighty hand on this young man. Also, forever etched in my minds, are three of the four little girls, all sisters, who are brought to church by a neighbor. Please pray for these children , that their parents will see the need to furnish a loving Christian home full of warmth spiritually and physically for these beautiful, vibrant young children. So, it is evident that The Crusader's saw God work in a mighty way, the first week-end of 2008. AND WHY NOT...He promises each of us where two or three are gather in His name, He will be also. Matthew 18:20. This week finds us at home, and looking forward to being at Red Lick Baptist Church close to Texarkana, on Saturday, January 19th at 6:00 p.m. and the 20th at Eyleau Hills Baptist Church in Texarkana, also on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. This is two great opportunities to come hear The Crusader's and not miss your own church services. For more information on The Crusader's schedule go to www.thecrusadersquartet.com. For Bookings call David at 870-904-3118. We pray that you will all stay connected to The Crusader's Ministry and continue to pray for us. God Bless you all, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| Resolutions Hello and Happy New Year, The Crusader's are busting at the seams to get back to singing this week. Many think the time off is good, but for us, we miss it within days of not being on the road. That is a sure sign of God's call on our lives. If you have found that call for your life, then you know the feeling I share with you. The Crusader's will perform the first time this year, Friday night, January 4th at the First Friday Night Camp Meeting, hosted by Jack Daniels Ministries. We look forward to ministering at the first ever camp meeting and dedication service. God has blessed Mr. Daniels, with a second chance, and many have been saved through His ministry and faithfulness to share his testimony and preach The Word across the world. The Crusader's will continue on to Dequeen, AR on Sunday morning at Rosehill Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church in Idabel, Oklahoma on Sunday night. I give you these dates and places and ask you to pray for these services and share it with someone, if you know anyone, in that area. What makes a happy new year? I can tell you what is missing out of most people's life. That is Jesus Christ. Many may know Him, but they don't serve Him and they don't live their life to magnify Him. They think they are happy. Many are running after the almighty dollar, possessions and planning for the future, here on earth. God wants us to use our time to fulfill the purpose, he created for us. He is preparing a place for us way more beautiful and important than this earthly place. It seems to me we should be preparing for that homecoming. I truly believe happiness comes from within, when you serve God, and focus on His direction for your life. Ever wonder why resolutions don't work. Because you resolve to do something that you don't really want to do. Start the diet, exercise, read your Bible through, save money, etc. They don't seem to work, in most cases, except for such a short time, unless you fall in love with the process. Resolutions are what you think, you want to do, but you don't feel in your heart. Resolving to do what God has design you to do, is so much more rewarding. Find your passion for Christ. Is it teaching, preaching, giving, writing, singing, serving others, or something else? None of these can be done, in Christ's power, without faithfully praying, studying His word and seeking His direction. Nehemiah 10:29, tells us to obey carefully the commands, regulations and decrees of the Lord. When you fall in love with God, you are miserable not serving, not praying, not reading and studying the Bible. Exodus 15:26 tells us if we listen carefully to God and do what is right and pay attention to commands and keep all His decrees, he will not bring disease on us and will heal us. Maybe that is the reason there are so many unhappy saved people. Until each realize the purpose God made you for, you will not be happy. If you look at the Bible. The Resolutions are already set up. Follow His Commandments, Exodus 20, and Promises of the Bible, and You will have a Happy New Year. Do realize happiness is not built on no problems, but serving and knowing the problem resolver, Jesus Christ. Remember: resolve to Let God resolve your problems, your pathway, and your decisions. | REFLECTIONS FOR 2007 Crusader Reflections for 2007 Actually The Crusader's begin to take on a new look in Dec. 2006, when Matt Green our tenor singer, for five years, took a music job at our church. Soon, to follow in the next few weeks, Steve Hardy, our bass singer for around seven years, decided he would leave the road. God had already added Steve Reeves on guitar and vocals and Wes Lewis, as tenor. Due to work related conflicts, Josh Kee, our lead was no longer going to be able to commit to travel, after April. But, God's timing is always right on time. Wes, was only here for a short time, until college begin. God used him right up till hours before his college commitments began. As we traveled to Texarkana for a singing that same night, without a tenor, God already had one in place. Earl Elder, a tenor singer from Atlanta, Texas stepped forward out of the crowd that had gather for the singing. He shared from his heart how he had always heard The Crusader's and he felt God could use him. Within weeks, without missing a concert, our lead, Paul Stubbs, from Hot Springs, AR and bass singer, Doyle White, from Texarkana, TX were hard at work learning new songs together. Be still and know God is in control. Not just in 2007, but every year, God has always provided for The Crusader's. We have seen God work in many areas this year: We seen Him provide the right people for His ministry. We have been blessed with a different bus to travel to concerts in. We have seen Him save souls, touch lives, renew hope in our services. We have had the honor and privilege to sing in revivals, concerts, churches, homecomings, homes, conventions, associational meetings. We have ministered to other groups, pastors, discouraged church members, each other, the lost, the hurting and the dying. We hosted the 6Th annual Deep South Regional Quartet Convention, and experience the best ever. We started a news letter by email, with Crusader Updates. We have updated the website, for the first time in 5 years, with schedule of singings, www.thecrusadersquartet.com. More to come in 2008, on that. We now have www.myspace.com/thecrusadersquartet, to correspond with other Christians, and others that will listen to Christ's message. We have seen His mighty hand protect, provide financially and spiritually, and physically and heal members in our ministry and others. We have traveled together, shared a burden, ministered to each other, shared a hug and a tear, and grown closer to God and each other. We have traveled to 32 services for 2007 and have 25 already booked for 2008. We have a purpose and it is to serve God Always. We are not to miss an Opportunity. So what was the Highlight for 2007 and the vision for 2008?: SERVE, SERVE, SERVE. WHERE EVER GOD ALLOWS. I thought about the word "reflection". When we think of reflection, we think of mirror,or water. What do we see when we look into...?? Many of us, are told, some daily, you look like your father, you look like your mother... How much more important to be like Our Heavenly Father. What traits have we picked up from Him? Are we loving to All, are we kind, giving, forgiving (that's a big one), thoughtful, considerate, prayerful, thankful, patient with others.. What do you want to be reflected in your life? Looking at the reflections of 2007, makes you aware of how God has worked in your life and what we can do to resemble Him in 2008. It's a grooming process. We must get up each day and prepare ourselves to be that Reflection of Christ. What tools will you use for 2008. Start with prayer, time in your Bible and quiet time for God to speak and you to listen, and get ready to serve, because He will reflect Himself, if you allow Him to be reflected. (verse that comes to mind 1 Corinthians 13:11-13). If you have someone you would like for me to add to The Crusader's Updates, please forward me their email address. The Crusader's will be back sharing the word of Christ, through song on January 4, 2008, after 3 weeks off during the holidays. God Bless you all, Penney Talley wife of a Crusader

| MERRY CHRISTMAS We wish each one of you a Merry Christmas. God has truly been good to The Crusader's in 2007. But, God has always been good to The Crusader's!! It's the world and Satan that can throw a curve ball. We were to be in Mesquite Saturday night and Friday night our water pump went out on the generator. So with no heat in the bus, and the cold day on tap, His Call graciously let us out of that commitment. We know there were many others that God used in this great ministry. We hope to be a part of it in the next year. We thought of them often Saturday and the good time we were missing. God has opened many doors for 2008 for The Crusader's. We already have 23 singings booked and we feel this is only the beginning and God is going to put us in many other areas to share His Word. This year, we sung 28 times, which is great considering we didn't begin to sing until April. Christmas what is it? Yea, I know the time when we celebrate Christ's birthday. Also, the time we share a gift, a meal, maybe a phone call. But what is Christmas to you? This celebration should not be just a day. When so much emphasis is put on one day and trying to see everybody in just a few days, I think it takes the meaning of Christmas off Christ. Our focus is on getting to the event on time, having a gift for everyone, baking that perfect meal. You spend a few hours with people, you haven't seen in months. What is the discussion? What the kids want for Christmas, what we've done all year, and where we are going, what we cooked. Doesn't sound like Christ is the center of Christmas... Don't get me wrong..I like to decorate for Christmas, bake, visit and buy gifts, but I do realize that all of this without including time for Christ, and sharing Christ is of little importance. Let's make a promise to celebrate Christ birthday all year in 2008.....beginning Now.... How do you celebrate.???...by inviting people to the biggest party ever, given by Christ Himself in Heaven. THIS PARTY IS R.S.V.P. What is a party without music.???..chose wisely your music for 2008 (we, o'course think Southern Gospel, is the closest to Heavenly Music), but God can speak to you through other Christian music. Who do you invite???.....don't be selective. God wants all to come and He has chosen you to be His co-host. He does the preparations, the expensive has been paid, and all He wants is for you to Invite all to come. Directions to the party???....Admit you are a sinner. Believe in your heart Christ died for you. Confess your sins. When and how do you give the invitation..???..Prayer to God, He will direct you. He will give you the opportunity and words, when you pray to Him. Today is the day of Salvation. Where do I find the party invitations and directions.???...in the Bible. God's word is our road map to the party. Remember we are to share with others...directions to the party. I hope you will start now on inviting people to Christ's Party. In the end it will not matter if you are at your mom's house, grandma's house or aunt Suzie's for Christmas Day. What will matter if they were invited to the Biggest Party ever given, in Heaven, that will never end. Today, I invite you. Will you come and go with me? If you will, let The Crusader's know by emailing me back and saying "I'll be there." Remember this party is R.S.V.P. only. God Bless you all, and we hope to see you at the concerts and worship services with The Crusader's in 2008. Penney Talley wife of a Crusader To book the crusader's call 870-904-3118.
