Remember Dennis's wife in prayer

Sheila Powers wife of Dennis Powers of the Skyline Boys Quartet will undergo surgery on July 2 for female organs. She has been given a 99% chance of killing all traces of cancer. As of now all traces of Lymphoma are still in remission. Praise The Lord for that!!

The doctors have also found a tumor on Sheila's right ovary and she will not know if its cancer or not until surgery. The doctor will do a biopsy to determine if the tumor is benign or malignant. If malignant the doctors will have to removed the ovary. Sheila received a letter in the mail on Monday that stated She needed more extensive testing for her right breast so that the doctor's can make a decision as to if the mass they found is benign or malignant.

Sheila would like to express her abiding gratitude to everyone that has helped her and her family out during our time of need the past couple of weeks.

Finally, but far from least Sheila would like to thank everyone who ... organized meals, provided a meal, wrote a card or letter, made a phone call, stopped by for a chat (even if she wasn't aware of your presence ), shared a breakfast, gave flowers, brought frozen foods, shared information, listened with an open heart, or has in any other way been there with your support and love, Sheila said there are no words to truly express my thanks to you all thus far. I have been richly blessed, and I'm in the joyous position of knowing that, and knowing each of you, every day of my life.

Be well, God Bless, and please keep remembering my family and I in your prayers.

My heartfelt thanks to you all.

Dennis & Sheila Powers

It was great fun for the Skyline Boys to be on the Gospel Greats as special guests. Our radio song called "24 Hours A Day" is fun but presents good Biblical truth. Since recording this program, Paul Heil said that he had played the Skyline Boy's CD in his office several times while working, and always enjoyed it,he usually finding himself singing along (especialy if he close his office door first so as not to annoy anyone). There are several great songs on our new CD but we just couldn't get them all on the air.
