Dwayne Farrow is a Gospel singer and musician from Caddo Mills, Texas. He started singing in church at an early age and has not stopped singing nor has he stopped loving the Lord. Dwayne is an accomplished guitarist and has participated in several Nashville Guitar Gatherings.
A graduate from East Texas State University with a Music Education Degree, Dwayne joined the US Air Force Band during Vietnam. While in the Air Force, Dwayne honed his music and performance skills even further. Following a nine year stint in the service, Dwayne entered the classroom as a music teacher. He taught band in San Antonio and Caddo Mills and strings in Dallas ISD.
Dwayne began leading church music while he was in college and continued to do so whenever opportunities were available. When he retired from the school district, Dwayne wanted to use his skills to praise God and share the Gospel even further. He has released three CDs and was recently voted by members of the Southern Gospel Music Association (SGMA) of Texas as the 2019 Male Soloist of the Year and 2019 Musician of the Year. Dwaynes love for God is evident in his performances.
Dwayne was influenced by listening to George Beverly Shea and Stuart Hamblin and country gospel artists throughout the years. His Country Gospel musical style has garnered him charting hits through Christian Voice Magazine with the songs Job Had the Faith and Im So Glad Im On The Inside Looking Out. He is a member of the SGMA of Texas, the Gospel Music Artists Association (GMAA), the Texoma Gospel Music Association (TGMA), and the International Country Gospel Music Association (ICGMA).
Dwayne married Betty, the love of his life, while in college and they have two children and a grandson.
