Gospel Sounds ...spreading the Word in song.

We desire to always let our light shine in our daily walk with God.

Dennis Miles sings bass and harmony and is our sound man and driver.

Dennis' grandfather, Henry Miles was a bass singer and song writer. He sang with several well known quartets. Dennis' Dad, Edward Miles was a minister, singer and played guitar. His mother Vola Lee Miles was a Sunday school teacher , and sang alto with the family group.

Dennis comes from a family of six children. After being saved at a young age, he has been singing in church and active in God's work. He enjoys working in the church , as well as traveling and singing for Jesus

Kathryn Miles is the lead singer and a songwriter. She also takes responsibility for booking the group. In 1995, Kathryn joined the Herrin Family and sang with them for a year. She then formed the Evangel Gospel Singers and they were together for two years.

Gospel Sounds was formed in 1998. The original members were Dennis, Kathryn and granddaughter Ashley. In 1999, Margaret ( Dennis' sister ) joined the group until 2006, when she married Norman Pearce and went to live in Clyde, TX.

Dennis and Kathryn were married at a very young age. God has blessed them with two daughters, and one son. They now have nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

We thank God for opening doors for our ministry and for giving us the strength and ability to walk through those doors.

Our prayer is that we might be a blessing to others and through our message in song, lead someone to Jesus.
