Gene Zorn is a gospel music artist from rural North Dakota. Gene's gospel and harmony appetite started around the age of 14, when he was fascinated by groups such as the Oak Ridge Boys, the Statler Brothers and the Blackwood Brothers, especially when they sang southern gospel. That unique sound ignited a passion that would later influence his ministry and conversion.
Throughout his musical career, Gene has been blessed to share many performances with choirs, select groups and many quartets. In the past 15 years, he has had the pleasure of singing with the Prodigal Quartet, Jericho Road and other various solo performances. He has also performed in many Texas Opry's, such as Red Oak, Johnnie High, Grapevine and Cross Timbers.
He's always had a deep appreciation for southern gospel music and the hymns, and his passion is to present songs that bless, bring hope, joy, and peace.
To quote his musical mentor, Jim Reeves, "If I, a lowly singer, dry one tear or soothe one humble human heart in pain, then my homely verse to God is dear and not one stanza has been sung in vain." In constant pursuit, may my music bring praise and glory to our Lord.
